A charming little place in the historic center of Ruvo di Puglia. We had a wonderful lunch in a charming atmosphere. The orecchiette with burnt wheat were superb, and the fried fish was delicious. Worth the trip!

Every time we come to Puglia, we absolutely have to stop by my dad's hometown and have lunch at La Chicca. A charming location and impeccable service. Excellent food and wine. A special thank you and a big hug to Luca, the owner.

A gem in name and in fact, dishes full of flavour, prices in line, I hope they fix the outside lighting as soon as possible, because halfway through the dinner it was all dark

18/10/2025: Kind, friendly, and professional staff. I recommend the ricotta calzones, both sweet and savory, with hints of lemon. Exceptional!!! The spaghetti alla Giuann (maybe I spelled that wrong!) was very good 🤣. Excellent experience, very fair price.

17/11/2025: Quite tasty food, plenty of choice. However: the baguettes were terribly narrow and overly toasted. The salad bread fell apart in my hands :( but the pistachio pesto was delicious. Coperto €1 per person.
16/11/2025: Exceptional coffee. The driver is attentive to cleanliness and service. Top.
