Between one visit and another, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The lady who served us was very kind. The service was very fast (upon our request). The orecchiette with turnip tops were superb! Naturally handmade.

The food was good, but the service was too slow (an hour's wait between dishes). The room was cold because the heaters weren't working, which was a real inconvenience.

The place was too crowded and noisy, but it was Sunday lunchtime, so that's understandable. The food was good, especially the raw seafood. Service and hospitality could be improved, but the staff were courteous and polite. The wine and sparkling wine list was interesting.

A lovely restaurant in the old town with a very varied menu. Best tuna ever. The server suggested a great appetizer – cheese and salami for two. The meal was rounded off with a fantastic dessert and coffee. Beautiful background music in a romantic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Siamo stati in questi giorni per pranzo...Piatti buoni, curati nella preparazione e nella presentazione...freschi e preparati al momento....l' abbiamo trovato, tuttavia, un tantino caro. La pulizia del locale, andrebbe curata maggiormente nei dettagli..l' ingresso cucina e' zozzo, con una tenda di separazione, chiara, che andrebbe lavata o sostituita ,e il pavimento che andrebbe ristrutturato e curato nella pulizia, maggiormente...il resto, bene!!!

Bonito restaurante en la ciudad vieja de Bare. Personal no muy atento. El cheff es gran cheff. La comida es muy buena. El precio justo. Lugar muy agradable.

06/12/2025: Small but cute and efficient place, quality food at an excellent price. The owner is welcoming, as is all the staff. Parking is available. Definitely worth a try.
09/11/2025: An unconventional osteria, striving for simplicity but with quality and attention to detail. Fresh, locally sourced, delicious food. The meats and vegetables are excellent, as are the pasta dishes. There's no menu, but that's fine because the recommendations are always excellent. The wine cellar is exceptional, with great wines and excellent options for every budget. A delightful discovery.

30/11/2025: Very welcoming restaurant...good, very home-made food
28/11/2025: We've known and frequented this rotisserie for many years, ever since the legendary Donatina was behind the stove. Time has passed, but the experience remains the same. The grilled meat is excellent, in the typical Altamura tradition. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the service still make the difference! 😀 Recommended.
