La Caverna is a historic pizzeria and pizza parlor in Pistoia, open since 1977. It's well-known for its excellent pizza and affordable prices. From spring to October, you can dine outside under a beautiful verdant garden. Service is fast, and the waitresses are always smiling. It's very busy on weekends.

Unmissable Highly recommended not only for the kindness and speed with which the waiters/owners provide their service, but also for the quality of the food. In addition to the wide variety of pizzas, you can try other excellent dishes: bresaola, arugula, and high-quality parmesan, as well as fresh and tasty buffalo mozzarella. The aperitif pairing is a must, especially the legendary "Cinarone" created by Samuele, a perfect bartender. The price is very fair. An unmissable stop in Pistoia

18/11/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious and the service very friendly. Our requests were accommodated without any problems. We had a wonderful evening with the whole family. The dessert was also excellent. We will definitely come back again!

07/09/2025: Wow! Just WOW! We stayed here for 5 nights for a part of our 5 week honeymoon in Europe. This was genuinely a highlight of our trip so far. The room was clean, and as advertised. Everyone there was so kind and attentive. We hope we get to come back one day soon. Having travelled all the way from Australia we were so grateful to find a peaceful hideaway where we could get to other spots for day trips either via our hire car, or public transport not far away. Thank you again!
18/07/2025: I have one rule: I never return to the same place. This rule no longer applies. I've been there twice already, and I'd gladly go back, and more than once. A fabulous place, rest, regeneration, and a recharge unlike any other place I've been. A wonderful place with fantastic and welcoming owners. The pool is large, sometimes you're alone, the breakfast is delicious, and the restaurant serves delicious dinners. The view is breathtaking, and the space is so relaxing. I'll definitely be back again, and I already miss it.
