Update of my review. Given the previous excellent experience in the restaurant, I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and friends. Good decision! Historic venue just before the center of Genzano, with dedicated parking in front of the venue. Daniela, Massimo and all the staff guarantee top cuisine and service! Enviable value for money! Table for 24 people and both Daniela and all the staff were attentive and available to requests for menu differences for those who, like Muslims, cannot eat pork. I had them prepare a cake (surprisingly) and it was another pleasant discovery, really excellent! We ordered fish and wild boar dishes. No plate came back with food in it! The service may not be very fast but when you are in company the time still passes pleasantly. The menu isn't very varied but it's better that way, they focused on certain dishes and they know how to do them really well! The parking space in front of the restaurant is also convenient, which is really difficult in that area of ​​the Castelli Romani. It was the first time we went there and we will go again. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat very well in a welcoming, comfortable and not distracting place. It almost feels like being in your own living room. Guest at a birthday party. Historic place and the furnishings have certainly been partly modernized while maintaining the pleasant style that recalls its history. We ate well and especially the pappardelle and mixed grill. Excellent dessert. I cannot indicate the cost per person but certainly not less than 40 euros. It has parking available for the restaurant necessary for its location.

I have been to this welcoming and historic restaurant several times. The last time I went for a pizza on a Sunday evening when, for a baptism event, the reserved room was enlivened by ethnic music. I really appreciated that between the main room and the private room there was a wall with a door, because this allowed you to listen to the music without having too high a volume. The staff is very kind and welcomes everyone with a smile. Mrs. Patrizia, one of the owners, has such a welcoming and loving way of doing things that makes you feel pampered. We took two bruschettas with truffle sauce, good and plentiful, and two pizzas, a margherita and a Neapolitan, very well seasoned and highly digestible. The pizza they offer is typical Roman, low and crunchy, but very light. A simple dinner, but one that remains in your heart for the atmosphere you breathe.

Highly recommended Unfortunately, on Sunday 9 February I went to lunch with my wife and there were some shortcomings in the kitchen caused, in our opinion, by the Chef's haste in getting our dishes out as there were many birthdays present on the same day. The pappardelle with wild boar in white and the scampi risotto were good, but the Judean artichoke turned out to be embarrassing, so much so that we sent it back to do it again but the second time it turned out to be wrong too. I even avoided taking pictures of it! The fried fish was limp and raw in some places, we also reported this to the restaurant manager who kindly suggested we make at least a half portion again but we gave up. Frappe and castagnole to make up for the inedible mix-up, definitely made the day before!! We expected a small final discount which did not arrive. Cuisine to review and record. A restaurant that I have had the opportunity to frequent several times and I must admit that it has never disappointed. Simple dishes, some traditional, but created with excellent taste and knowledge combined with good raw materials lead to enjoyment of the palate. For those looking for a place to eat well in a quiet and friendly environment I highly recommend it.
