La Cascina dei Sapori In Rezzato

The pizza was really good, both the dough and the ingredients used. I wouldn't recommend the dessert, however, as it's not particularly good for the price (€8, I think). It's a shame the tables are a bit small.

An experience. About a 15-minute drive from the city, we booked via the app. The restaurant is on the street, so there's no private parking, but it wasn't too difficult to find one nearby. The restaurant opens at 7:00 PM, not before. We arrived promptly, but there were people waiting outside in the distance. We sat in the small room on the right (a table a bit small for three), and we were also a bit too close together, so much so that we even started talking to the couple next door. Clean restaurant, impeccable service, very helpful waiters, and we received complimentary bruschetta topped with lentils. They were warm, fragrant, and drizzled with excellent olive oil. The pizzas, which arrived fairly quickly, are in the order in which they were posted: Extra buffalo mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, and nduja The crust is very thick, yet the center is so thin that the toppings "run away." I appreciated the quality of the ingredients and the quantity (always generous, and the drizzle of oil was always generous and intense). As a side dish, they offered mini butter and coconut cookies. Excellent, with a very strong coconut flavor. The coffee was also worth it. Closed for lunch. For me, the only "off-key" notes are the pizza's overly thin center and the reservation requirement (you have to leave by 8:30 PM).

It was the place chosen to celebrate my husband's fiftieth birthday, as he loves pizza. Among the guests were people with food intolerances. I was welcomed, accompanied, and listened to my requests, always with courtesy and kindness. The pizzas were sublime, both in terms of the dough and the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Polite and quick service. The gluten-free pizza was not bad. Highly recommended.

Let's start from the end: total payment of €69 for two. Many might turn up their noses at the thought of an exaggerated price for a pizza evening. It could probably be true: it's a place for many, perhaps not for everyone, but the difference is that here you taste—or rather, I didn't say simply eat—a product that aesthetically says pizza but that the palate barely recognizes as such, such is the quality found on the plate, starting with a dough that, once tasted and swallowed, will be forgotten in the subsequent stages of digestion, ending with the ingredients where, in our case, the best prosciutto crudo ever tasted in Brescia and the surrounding area stands out a meter above all others, where with neighboring ones you can easily reach the borders of the province of Parma, where this product is the undisputed king of the table. All this to say that... IT'S WORTH IT. It's worth the extra price because here we found the concept of pizza taken to a higher level. Assuming the Gourmet concept exists in pizzerias, I'd say that at Cascina dei Sapori, every item deserves this distinction amidst a sea of ​​pseudo-gourmet options. Very good! The service is friendly and generous with explanations for any questions about the menu.

The pizza is good, but nothing exceptional. The ingredients are excellent, although I expected better flour choices. The flavors are very simple, with little contrast. The tasting experience is fantastic, with unique dough and flours, and bold flavors. The place is basic, not far from a classic pizzeria. The price is way above average, and not justified by any significant factor. I expected much more from the awards I've received, but overall it was a positive experience.
