The restaurant is located in the heart of Certaldo, easily accessible and perfect for those who want to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine. The appetizers and first courses, prepared with local, locally sourced ingredients, are flavorful, meticulously prepared, and perfectly represent Tuscan culinary tradition: simple, authentic, and rich in flavor. The restaurant is small but well-organized, with a compact kitchen that serves a limited number of guests quickly and efficiently. During our visit—which occurred during a violent storm in the first week of July—the roof leaked slightly. The staff, however, promptly addressed the situation, courteously moving us to another table. A minor detail that didn't compromise the quality of the meal in the slightest, but one that might affect a foreign tourist differently than an Italian, more accustomed to such unexpected events. An absolutely worthwhile experience, recommended for those seeking authenticity and authentic flavors.

A classic trattoria where you expect to eat like at home. The place is well-kept and the bathrooms are clean. Prices are reasonable, although the cover charge is a little high, but the rest makes up for it. If you're looking for a place to eat without being overcharged, I definitely recommend it.

The place is small and convivial as befits a trattoria. Typical local menu with simple cuisine but rich in authentic flavors. We consumed a terrine of farfalle seasoned with pesto and fresh cheese, pici alla Mercanzia and a baked rabbit. Everything was really good and tasty but I'll say more about the rabbit! I have rarely found it so good. The service of the owner was kind and convivial. As for the bill, it was certainly not excessive. Recommended for those who love simple places with authentic cuisine without too many frills.

I went yesterday for lunch with my husband, Tuscan dishes cooked in an excellent way, the staff was very friendly, modest prices. Highly recommended. We will return soon to taste other dishes.
