A traditional, friendly trattoria. Excellent food. I would go so far as to say “out of this world.” Excellent service. I’ve been here several times over the years. I always leave sated, happy.

Honestly one of my favourite restaurants in Italy!! Simple, homey, and delicious Tuscan food. Ottimo!

A truly Florentine restaurant, though it attracts some tourists (it's almost impossible to avoid them), but many of its customers are Florentines. The service is excellent. The food is very good and typically local. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

This place is amazing. We first came here several years ago based on a recommendation and what a winning recommendation. The pasta, cheeses, service, everything is incredible.

I had high hopes based on my fellow Google reviewers, but I was disappointed. Even though it was beginning of December, welll off the high season, and in the Oltrarno, the place was packed. Our waiter was efficient, but too efficient for our liking. We wanted a nice leisurely lunch after some touring. Instead we were rushed in every way, and the food did not impress enough to overlook the general experience

The place to be in Florence. We loved it, had been a jump in a real local place. Food amazing and service super friendly!! definitely recommend!!

I returned to this trattoria after a long time because I knew I'd find traditional dishes. It's a bit more sophisticated than it used to be, but I ate very good Tuscan dishes, and the service was excellent. The price was reasonable.

Great local trattoria. Amazing food- authentic experience

We couldn't leave Florence without trying some of its typical dishes, and this restaurant prepared them wonderfully. We started with pappardelle with wild boar, which we shared: absolutely delicious. Next came the bistecca alla fiorentina, as thick as we'd been warned and truly exquisite. Be warned, though, because bistecca is pricey (ours came to around €50/kg), but it's a dish that's totally worth it at least once. We finished with two desserts that looked incredible; in fact, everything on the menu looked tempting. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout. A highly recommended experience.

Other than the lady who sat us, who made us feel very rushed and in the way, the service was great. The place doesn't look fancy (paper table cloths, crowded small tables), but the food for the price totally makes up for it.
