La Capriata In Bologna

Homemade and best scaloppine I have had in Italy. i don't know why so many negative reviews, the young lady was kind to receive us on 13/10 at 17 in the afternoon, when nobody else would accept us. We have had antipasti, scaloppina alla bolognese and some spritz, honestly it was very good. Maybe slightly more expensive than in other towns but overall a good experience and the bread wasn't too bad. The lady serving us was very kind and gentle and honest, for me it was a top experience and there is nothing but a good moment spent there. They offer gluten free options, they also offer to make pasta for you as a side dish even if it wasn't on the menu, a great address with fresh ingredients.

A must-visit if you are in Bologna. The ragu bolognese is wonderful and it was made with fresh gluten-free tagliatelle - we were astounded! We also ordered two starters - gnocco fritto and friggione - both also so flavourful and with incredible, homemade gluten-free bread! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the setting is very traditional and homey. Can't recommend enough.

Arrived on Saturday at 9 pm with a reservation. It was very crowded. Very good gluten-free food, delicious crescentine, but the quantity of cured meats was limited—one slice of prosciutto, one slice of mortadella, three slices of salami, and a teaspoon of squacquerone per person—which doesn't justify the price. Crescentine and cured meats are two separate dishes. The tortellini are delicious, homemade (on display). The cappellacci with pumpkin are also delicious. The service was long and inattentive, despite the busy waiters. Probably too many people for the current staff to handle. We were on the lower floor, which wasn't up to par, with frequent comings and goings from the bathrooms, which were small and had one for men and one for women. Impractical. However, for anyone wanting to eat Emilian cuisine, this is a place to remember.

Finally, a place where you don't feel different. The entire gluten-free menu, from appetizer to dessert, is exceptional! I had the crescentine with the cutting board (the crescentine melted in my mouth 🥰), the balanzoni, and the delicious tenerina with zabaglione. My favorite restaurant 😍. The service was impeccable, with maximum attention to us celiacs ❤️. Thank you so much for making me feel at home 🥰

Excellent experience! I had dinner at La Capriata and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening in the heart of Bologna. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always with a smile. We tried typical Bolognese dishes, all prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients. The tagliatelle with ragù was truly exceptional, and the gramigna with sausage was a true delight. The desserts are also worth a mention: the tiramisu is simply perfect! Excellent value and a pleasantly authentic atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals.

Menu with many gluten-free pasta options, including stuffed ones. Delicious! I recommend it. Gluten-free dishes are marked with a drop of balsamic vinegar. Great location.

Has lunch here yesterday. Almost the entire menu can be gluten free. Husband and I tried 2 different pastas, ragu and one with chestnuts, and also had the fried gnocchi. All were delicious. Friendly staff, quiet courtyard, perfect spot for lunch or dinner.

It's a bit on the pricey side, but the food was amazing. You can really taste that everything is homemade, even the gluten free pasta. For celiacs it's the perfect place since you can get everything made gluten free. The location is also quiet and really cozy, I had a lovely place on the terrace. Definitely visit when you're in the city centre!
