True taste experience from another era! We stumbled upon Osteria La Capasa on our very last day in Grottaglie – and mamma mia, what a finale! The orecchiette with burratina tasted exactly like the last golden sunset of summer – the perfect pasta, the sweetest sun-grown tomatoes sizzling in olive oil, creamy burratina, and fresh basil. I was this close to tears – it was pure perfection. I will keep this taste with me forever. Then came the bombette with roasted potatoes and Salento chicory – a first for me, and oh, what a revelation! The meat was grilled to absolute mastery, tender and simply seasoned. Honestly, the only regret? Not arriving with a big, hungry group so I could taste the whole menu. Bravissimo, Osteria La Capasa – you stole my foodie heart! ❤️🇮🇹

Of course, we were greeted by the fantastic CAPASE that give the place its name, in true Apulian style... the atmosphere is fun, like being at a market 😜, with a constant flow of customers taking turns at the tables and waiters (joyfully coordinated by the owner) with their hands always busy and their eyes alert, checking to see if everything has been devoured by the diners. Generous portions, food made with quality ingredients and sourced locally. In short, Puglia on your table. We'll definitely be back.

This restaurant in the historic center of Grottaglie was a delightful surprise. The entire staff is like an orchestra playing a perfect melody. Great attention to individual needs, professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, and expertly crafted dishes. Typical products crafted with great expertise. Both the traditional dishes and some creative and delicious creations are excellent. You can taste the expertise of a kitchen that knows how to perfectly balance and calibrate the individual ingredients. Generous portions. Superb hospitality! Also recommended for vegetarians.
