Notice 1 the portions are decidedly generous: adjust! Warning 2, if possible, sit facing the wall so as not to see what is being served at the other tables: it's all very inviting and you might have second thoughts. Notice 3 don't be surprised to still find a place where the food is loved, the customer is treated very well and above all they still change the cutlery and bring it to you on a tray, covered with a napkin for obvious hygienic reasons.... Do I need to tell you how good everything is? The price is obviously the one due!

We went for dinner this evening, in the summer there are only tables outside. We took the triptych of meatballs (a portion for two, definitely abundant as you can see in the photo for an appetizer). Then orecchiette in tiesto (in paper) and orecchiette with cherry tomatoes and burrata (dish of the day). We concluded with two almond sorbets. All very good, the only small flaw was the meatballs in sauce which were not hot but only lukewarm, but still very good. With two bottles of water and a total cover charge of €55, more than fair given the enormous quantity of food and the location very close to the square.
I recommend booking as a few customers were sent away as everything was full.

Osteria in the beating heart of the historic center of Grottaglie, a place to stroll on a summer night. The professionalism and friendliness of the table service of all the staff made the stop light and joyful. Food prepared with rare skill and lots of local production. Dishes not on the menu should be trusted (I generally advise against them) as they are the result of preparations by the staff based on the availability of the material. A well-known national food and wine magazine could stop by to check its reviews and include it in the best taverns.

True Salento cuisine. The care and love in the preparation of the dishes are tangible in every bite you savor. . Every time we are welcomed like home. Intimate location inside an ancient house with star vaults and a huge fireplace in the upper room. A pearl located in the beautiful historic center of Grottaglie. Excellent value for money. I had dinner at this restaurant with my family, in an alleyway in the historic center of Grottaglie. Magnificent atmosphere. Very friendly, punctual and efficient service. Traditional Apulian cuisine, good choice on the menu with some off-menu of the day.

Locale molto ben curato, non caotico, sapori “come una volta”, porzioni abbondanti e materie prime ottime. Personale molto cordiale e competente. Tra di noi c’era un vegetariano a cui hanno prestato massima attenzione e a cui portato pietanze ‘extra’ senza sovrapprezzo. Se posso dare un consiglio: tenetevi un piccolo angolino nello stomaco per i dolci perché sono superlativi e meritano di essere assaggiati! Continuate così! Torneremo di sicuro
