This year we chose Fontane Bianche for our holidays, never again!!! Oppressive place, third world traffic, sidewalks don't exist, tides of rubbish everywhere. Luckily the sea is fantastic and even more fortunate to have found for lunch and dinner "LA CAPANNINA", a spartan place but with fantastic waiters and a functional kitchen with dishes worthy of a great restaurant, a special mention to one waiter (Salvatore) who is fast, attentive and disarmingly kind.

Ottima accoglienza sebbene non avessimo prenotato ci hanno trovato un posto! È consigliato prenotare soprattutto in alta stagione. Personale sorridente e attento alle necessità del cliente. Buona scelta di vini. Cibo ottimo e sfizioso. Raccomando la frittura di pesce …e il panino con il pesce spada! Delizioso il cannolo. Insomma una bella mangiata senza sorprese…alla cassa

17/08/2025: The food wasn’t incredible, but it was good and very authentic. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We liked that they had house wine.
31/07/2025: Tie-clad snobs might turn up their noses at the ambiance. But those looking for a trip back in time will be satisfied. Simple, authentic, traditional food, cooked with love. The atmosphere is a classic shop where our grandparents would go for a glass of wine accompanied by meatballs and boiled eggs. Fantastic. The owners are incredibly kind; they welcomed us with a smile, set up a table for us, and sat us down in five minutes. They listed the available dishes, and five minutes later we were having lunch. Fantastic.

Pizzeria Fuori Binario

29/09/2025: A very popular pizzeria in a side street, but well-frequented by locals and tourists of various nationalities. The food is enormous, and the pizza box for leftovers to go seems obligatory. I actually ordered a small portion of calamari fritti and was very surprised by the portion size. The salad was accompanied by a pizza bread made from a whole pizza. Value for money is definitely not an issue here.
11/09/2025: We took a pizza to go. It tasted burnt, and we waited a long time.
