Really tasty seafood pasta and carbonara. Very hot / AC is very weak so prepare to sweat!!

A nice place to eat in Florence, which is very close to all the squares and places to visit in the city (Ponte Vecchio, Ponte de la Signora, Michel Angelo's David, Il Domo, etc.). It has a variety of dishes, which are delicious and well served. The service is slow but good, so you should have time and not be too hungry. The prices are fair and I can recommend the place.

Excellent ! The quantities are generous and the server very friendly! We had the carbonara, cacio e pepe and truffle pasta but also the fiorantina phenoma steak for 2, everything was very good! Don’t hesitate!

There is an angel in this restaurant. She was super nice for us including our tiny baby and thanks to her, we had a wonderful lunch time. Their food portions were enough for even hungry big eaters.

Ristorante Pizzeria Borgo Antico

29/08/2024: I waited to review this location because I wanted to know if the host, Mr Vincenzo, had treated us in the same way as the first time. What can I say, booking, without problems, we arrived on site, the strong wind reigned supreme, and they made us sit inside, 18 seats, everything already set up, in less than two hours, with the place full on a Wednesday, we tasted excellent pizzas of various qualities, very fresh beers, fried potato chips, hot and crunchy, ect.ect. , in an atmosphere of friendliness, education and respect, at a truly honest price. What can I say, if you should pass through these parts, you can't help but stop in this place. Lunch or dinner or pizzeria, at Vincenzo's, are a guarantee.
21/08/2024: Authenticity: this is a word that perfectly summarizes the spirit of the ancient village, original flavours, care in food preservation and extremely traditional preparation. the terrace on the Murgia perfectly crowns a unique location on the border between Puglia and Basilicata
