Fantastic lunch! This restaurant was an incredible find. We had a selection of cheeses, polenta and mushroom crostini, and a pâté as a starter. As second courses, grilled lamb and brochena. And side dishes: beechnuts and sweet and sour onions. Finally the panna cotta and tiramisu. Everything was delicious, but the second courses were truly exceptional!! Super fast service, friendly staff and very pleasant environment. Excellent price. Compliments!

We went to this tavern in the center, we had a setback so we booked at the last second, a few minutes before we were supposed to be there. They were very kind in finding us a place anyway. We ate a Florentine steak and on their advice we also accompanied it with a couple of other different meats, in order to taste more things. Absolutely valid advice, excellent Florentine steak, but the rest is really not bad either. Very classic desserts (panna cotta, creme caramel and tiramisu), but well executed. Very simple but welcoming place. Nice and friendly service. I absolutely recommend it.

Fixed point when I go to S. Casciano. Historic place, very well known. You eat divinely at fair prices. Fiorentina Top. Excellent service, everyone very friendly, prepared. The Cellar is a guarantee!

Ci sono stata già due volte. Nonostante fosse nel mio paese ancora non c'ero mai andata. Sbaglio enorme, perché è veramente ottimo. Pochi piatti, ma eseguiti alla perfezione, cucina semplice, senza fronzoli. La pura cucina fiorentina, dal peposo al cinghiale alla maremmana. La brace ottima. Solitamente quando la prendo a ristorante, dopo mi tocca a bere una bottiglia d'acqua da quanto è salata. Alla cantinetta no. Nel periodo di funghi insalata di ovoli e porcini fritti. Anche i primi devono essere ottimi, ancora non l'ho mai presi. Un ottimo motivo per tornarci. Per il prezzo... ottimo.

04/01/2025: I confirm the positive reviews. The food is good, the menu is varied but of excellent quality. The kitchen manages to manage the request perfectly by making all the guests eat together. The pizza is thin and digestible, the vegetables too. All traditional dishes. The service is kind and quick.

28/12/2024: Dinner with friends. The two brothers are in the trade. For the appetizers, in addition to the traditional sausages, they recommended the "chicken liver crostini" revisited as an orange confit paté. The first courses (hand-rolled puff pastry) tagliatelle with guinea fowl and porcini mushrooms, pigeon cappelletti with truffle. For the second courses they served us a perfect cut of beef (evidently tastes are personal), sweet wild boar, venison peposo (evidently without tomato), and a rabbit stuffed with a vegetable omelette. Generous portions and without many frills. House wine (even there it depends on personal tastes - but it accompanied the dishes well), and a relaxed environment.
