Fixed point when I go to S. Casciano. Historic place, very well known. You eat divinely at fair prices. Fiorentina Top. Excellent service, everyone very friendly, prepared. The Cellar is a guarantee!

A wonderful lunch with grandfather. We had a phenomenal appetizer of artichokes in oil. Then the pasta with wild boar sauce and the rosticciana. All good and lovely little place.

I hadn't been back in a lifetime. And the beauty of it is that nothing has changed. All fantastic and fresh food. Very good meat. Excellent truffle and everything cooked to perfection. Still finding waiters wearing aprons is the finishing touch of those who want to make the tradition last.

Tutto quello che ti aspetteresti da una vecchia trattoria del secolo scorso: l'arredamento, il menù essenziale e l'atmosfera. Comprese le imprecisioni nella realizzazione dei piatti, nel servizio e nell'organizzazione della cucina. Una immersione in un'epoca in cui alla locanda si andava per sfamarsi piuttosto che fare turismo enogastronomico. Ma va bene così, anche i prezzi onestissimi e la ormai rara pratica dello sconto (generoso).

30/11/2024: A place with a great atmosphere and welcoming, friendly and highly professional people. The tagliatelle with lentil ragout are extraordinary and the desserts extremely elegant. Compliments to the chefs.
18/11/2024: I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant, besides saying that it is a beautiful restaurant, we had a wonderful meal. I made a fixed menu, and what can I say, beyond my expectations! Excellent service! I recommend everyone to go for lunch or dinner in this enchanting place! A huge thank you for helping make my birthday amazing! Mrs. Lisa super helpful! I recommend ♥️
