I can only feel satisfied that I was able to eat authentic Tuscan food. The pici with Tuscan Chianina sauce was superb as were the crostini.

It's fine if you are on a diet, due to the portions; and if you don't know Italian, so you won't be surprised when you order a truffle ("ice cream type") and you get a scoop of ice cream, for the modest sum of €8.

Four of us had dinner this evening on the recommendation of friends.
The cuisine - although original and refined - did not convince us, because the dishes we chose demonstrated quality in the ingredients, but unfortunately did not have much flavour.
The service is prepared and very friendly, even if a little slow and inattentive (but the place is full).
Unfortunately, the many small mosquitoes and the loud music in the room opposite were very negative, which in the long run really bothered us (not a direct flaw of the place, but still an inconvenience).
We won't be returning.

We have been coming to Castiglione on vacation for several years specifically to eat in this restaurant. Yes, the prices may be higher compared to other restaurants in the region, but I think they are justified. As always, the food tasted very good, was well prepared and warm when it came to the table. The staff is extremely friendly and gave us great advice. Menus are available in several languages (Italian, German and English). What I particularly like is that although there are almost the same dishes every year, the kitchen is very creative and comes up with something new for the side dishes every year. We can definitely recommend this restaurant!
P.s.: Meat lovers will also get their money's worth here. 😉

On the main avenue of Castiglione one of the best fish restaurants I have ever tried. The first courses are plentiful and tasty. The waiters are more than helpful and attentive to the smallest detail at the table, with a formidable passion in describing the products. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant in the center of Castiglione, excellent service, a little long in bringing the dishes, but the place was full and we were at a table of many people. Cost appropriate to the menu.

Exquisite dinner!
Thanks to Claudio who is the most competent person in oenology I have ever found in a restaurant, he knows any wine perfectly and is able to recommend pairings with the restaurant's delicious dishes.
It's not a restaurant for all budgets, I read many reviews that complain about the prices, but do you read the menu before sitting down or not?

Muy ordinario : los espaguetis con langosta tenían 4 piezas de langosta en medio de los espaguetis y salsa la garra delantera tan grande no podía aplastarlo con el francotirador proporcionado
Nadie se acercó a mí para servir mi vino, sin embargo, los elogio por haber ofrecido vino en el menú.
En general, no me importa pagar por la comida y el servicio de buena calidad, pero esto fue decepcionante
