A truly charming place to eat in Todi. The food, however, while good, wasn't entirely my cup of tea. I found the pasta they used for the truffle to be too strong for the truffle (perhaps because it was very whole grain), so the truffle flavor was barely noticeable. Other than that, the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a pleasant lunch!

A cellar carved into the stone in the heart of Todi. The atmosphere is elegant, and you can dine on a terrace with a beautiful panoramic view. Traditional Umbrian dishes are perfectly blended with Sicilian favorites thanks to the chefs' skill. It's a must-try.

Stumbled across this beautiful restaurant completely by accident when a booking we made elsewhere had fallen through. We were warmly welcomed by the friendliest and very knowledgeable staff who helpfully informed me they could make anything on the menu gluten free for me. The children ate all their food (which is a first) which was a beautiful tomato pasta very rich in flavour. The truffle pasta was absolutely delicious and the veal carpaccio was a winner with the table. The staff picked a perfect wine accompaniment for us and it was all very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Best gluten free pasta I have tasted, photo below!

An excellent place to eat well in the historic center of Todi: the staff is very knowledgeable and available to explain in detail the dishes and wines offered. The location is beautiful, both inside and in the outdoor garden.

The restaurant staff next door were extremely rude when we asked to see the menu and then closed the door in another family’s face - so we walked a few yards down the road and found this wonderful gem. The owner was charming and reserved us a table saying he opened in 5 minutes - the service was attentive and very friendly. The view was amazing and the food was imaginative and very tasty. They were extremely accommodating and gave vegetarian and vegan options when asked. Had a memorable evening. Would highly recommend

Really excellent food, we especially liked the gazpacho, potato millefeuille, and linguine with pesto and shrimp tartare. Probably our favourite meal in Italy this trip!

A fantastic dinner at La Cantina Del Mercataccio. We started with the bone marrow beef tartare, rich, perfectly balanced, and the veal carpaccio, generously topped with fresh truffle shaved at the table, which was a real highlight. The fried rabbit was crisp and full of flavour, paired beautifully with a glass of local Sangiovese. Warm, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere made it all the better. Highly recommend.
