La Cantina Cosentina In Cosenza

FABULOUS food and great staff!! Lagane with chickpeas was over the top! Goat stew was divine!! Nduja so yummy!!! Great wine and service!!! Would definitely recommend!

A small trattoria steeped in tradition and, above all, good Cosenza cuisine. Simple dishes, but worthy of an A+. Compliments to the entire staff. It feels like eating at home in a warm, authentic atmosphere. Fair prices, but superb dishes. Definitely worth a subscription. I'll be back every time I'm in Cosenza.

For those seeking traditional cuisine, quality, and friendly, helpful service, this is the place to be. Not to mention the charming location, considering it's in the historic center. Another plus is that parking is easy to find.

Every dish we had was incredibly well done. Lagane e ceci, baccala, and tagliata. The amount of food with the antipasso was quite a bit. The service was very friendly and effective. It's obvious they take great pride in great service. The atmosphere was perfect. A nice restaurant with traditional food. Wonderful. We visited this cantina at midday. It was fully booked, but they made room for us to eat, and it was incredible. The flavors, the quality of the food, the service—excellent! By far the best Calabrian food!

A wonderful family-run restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The food is all traditional Cosenza cuisine, with attention to detail and, above all, prepared with the finest local products. The restaurant is located in the city's historic center. The carefully curated menu offers excellent homemade appetizers (cured meats, cheeses, and traditional dishes). The first courses are a delight, including the lagane and chickpea pasta, which are fantastic, as are the paccheri della cantina, or the broccoli rabe with sausage for the main course, a true delight. Prices are moderate, and I highly recommend them.
