The restaurant was very quaint. We sat outside which was very nice! The food had an excellent taste and a generous portion! Our server was Akmal! He was very personable! He made the experience at the restaurant very enjoyable! We even stopped back on our last night in Rome to have a drink with him and say goodbye!

After having breakfast at the hotel, I was looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee when I spotted a staff member who greeted us warmly in Korean, so we came right in.
I ordered an espresso and my husband ordered red wine, and for dessert, we had a slice of pistachio cheesecake.😋 The recommended red wine was refreshing and fragrant, which was great, and the espresso was rich and had a really wonderful aroma!
I recommend the cheesecake too, haha.
The friendly staff member, Mimmo, even worked hard to learn Korean to ask if we enjoyed our meal. Thanks to the excellent service, we had a wonderful time enjoying our coffee. You should definitely stop by!

Stopped here for a quick Aperol spritz and bite to eat and it was perfect! Decent happy hour prices, the drinks were big, and the snacks were delicious.

The carbonara and amatriciana were amazing. The supplì was also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Rome for the first time!

An excellent traditional Roman restaurant located in one of Rome's most iconic spots, behind Piazza Navona. If it weren't for a friend who took me there, I would have mistaken it for a regular tourist restaurant. However, when the meatballs in tomato sauce arrived, I had to change my mind: the meat was excellent, the sauce fragrant, and I had to mop up the sauce with breadcrumbs.

I don't like restaurants with surprises on the bill. In Rome, they're hard to avoid. La Cantina Romana charges a 10% service charge, which isn't declared on the billboard displayed on the street but is barely visible on the menu presented at the table. As soon as I sat down, noticing the "trap," I agreed with the waiter that the "service" charge wouldn't be applied. The saltimbocca and abbacchio, served a little late, were delicious. And there was no surprise on the bill. I appreciate the honesty, although apologizing by claiming there wasn't room to print the 10% on the billboard seems a bit of a lame excuse.
