In my opinion, the restaurant deserves more stars than the list here indicates. We got a table for lunch without a reservation, an hour before closing time. We ordered a mixed salad, spaghetti vongole, and pasticcio alla Carlofortina. We accompanied it with a light white wine, as recommended by the owner. The dishes were freshly prepared, and the aroma alone promised a great meal. The portions were truly plentiful. The value for money was good. However, I would like to point out that a low price shouldn't be the basis for a good meal. Much more important is the lasting taste experience. And for that, I say thank you very much.

We had lunch at this trattoria last week.
The place is very informal and spartan, as is the service.
The menu is simple, with traditional Carlofortina dishes from both seafood and meat.
We ordered the pasticcio carlofortino, fresh pasta with crab, a vegetable caponata, a bottle of water, a glass of white wine, and a quart of red wine.
The dishes were simple but well-made.
We then ordered a cassata carlofortina and a canestrello with moscato. Both were very good.
The prices are a bit high, considering it's a trattoria with very simple dishes, but prices in the area are generally above average.
I recommend it if you want to experience Carlofortina cuisine with simple but authentic dishes.
