We always come to this restaurant when we’re in Val D’orcia and have never been let down. Pastas were so delicious and we had the best steak of our 2 week trip to Italy here.

Very elegant restaurant in Monticchiello. We ate wonderfully! Delicious pici. The best guinea fowl I've ever eaten! Beautiful setting and excellent, very friendly service! We'll definitely be back when we visit the Val d'Orcia again!

Located in the heart of Monticchiello, the restaurant is easily accessible from the town's main entrance. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The wine selection is also excellent. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but keep in mind that you won't be eating "everyday" dishes... but it's worth it!

13/09/2025: We came for lunch again thanks to the reviews. I wanted to try the pici cacio e pepe, and if I had to give it a rating, I'd give it an A+. Homemade pici, with an amazing sauce that's perfect for mopping up the sauce. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, stop by.
