We appreciated it for its tasty innovations and for its respect for continuity.

A quaint restaurant with friendly staff and great local food. We had a great experience and would recommend to try. Parking is close with an easy walk.

Evening as a couple. We had a selection of pecorino cheeses as an appetizer, a plate of tagliolini with black summer truffle as a first course, and a portion of pork fillet with potatoes as a second course.
The waiter was very kind and was able to recommend an excellent local wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. The dessert was also excellent, combining different types of chocolate with a goat's gorgonzola cheese refined with wine and raisins.

This is an excellent spot in Montichiello. Food is far better than the average in this area, yet the prices are reasonable. Service excellent, and had one of the best bistecca alla Fiorentina I've had in a long time. We will definitely return.

Last night my friend Eli and I had dinner in Monticchiello, the most beautiful village in the world.
We went to the Daria restaurant, to our friends Giacomo and Serena.
I found 'Il Tonno del Chianti' a delicate and delicious dish that I had always dreamed of eating.
A real, inimitable, unmistakable 'Chianina' fillet, cooked strictly rare... and, to my surprise, warm inside.
Compliments to the chef!!!
To finish, on the advice of the very knowledgeable and kind hostess Serena, we ate a selection of 'Venchi chocolate with goat gorgonzola and vin santo' Guys... what can I say, I feasted my eyes and palate...
If you pass by these parts, don't go looking for anything else, a stop at 'Ristorante Daria MonticchielloDaria' is a must!
