La Canonica In Stazzema

We had lunch on Christmas Day in this beautiful restaurant, housed in a 1600s rectory; we chose the homemade Versilia tordelli, very good even if for 15 euros we would have imagined there would be more than 6; then two entrecotes with baked potatoes, excellent and the tiramisu, also excellent. As a wine, my husband chose Montecucco Colle Massari Riserva 2018, also excellent in terms of quality/price ratio. The service with the owner in the room is ok. We will definitely return but we must remember to order 4 portions of tordelli.

Booked last minute after an excursion, our expectations were more than exceeded. The location is rustic, welcoming and with a majestic view of the Apuan Alps, with a direct view of Monte Forato and the Pania della Croce. On a cold Sunday in November we appreciated the warmth of the fireplace and the welcome of the landlady. Exceptional food, with many alternatives, all dependent on availability at the time.

Location out of category. The very kind owner. It feels like having lunch at home. Crazy truffle tagliolini.

Been there solo for dinner and had an amazing evening with superb wine, really nice food and my book. One of the waitresses was incredibly kind and took her time to recommend a local red wine matching my food choices. The other one wasn't particularly friendly but neither unfriendly. I had the Tatar à la Chef (with burrata & truffles) which was a delight. Could have used a little more salt but maybe that's only my personal opinion. The truffled pasta was also quite nice but a little small for the price and my liking (although pasta isn't a main dish in Italy, which I'm perfectly aware of). Same with the home-made Tiramisu. Delicious but sadly too little. Otherwise it was a perfectly fine dinner and I can only recommend going there!

Ambiente molto accogliente sulla terrazza estera, personale simpatico e veloce , ravioli gustosissimi, ottimi gli affettati e formaggi. Esperienza piacevole

A mio parere personale, pur non essendoci mai venuto a mangiare in questo locale, posso affermare che nel posto in cui è dislocata la terrazza apparecchiata, si puo godere di un panorama mozzafiato rivolto verso i monti della Garfagnana soprattutto con la vista del "monte forato", sicuramente ambientazione molto suggestiva e romantica da poter condividere con una persona speciale; foto fatte prima dell'ora di cena. Ambiente da 5 stelle.

Luogo magico, cibo ottimo, personale gentilissimo. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ritorneremo sicuramente

un bellissimo ristorante, molto curato e con una vista mozzafiato, il menù abbastanza ristretto, offre comunque una buono possibilità di scelta, i piatti sono ben cucinati e serviti, la lista dei vini ricercata, il prezzo è in linea con la qualità del cibo servita, c'è da fare un bel po' di strada per arrivarci ma ne vale la pena.
