We had dinner at this restaurant, and all the dishes were delicious. The fried caciocavallo cheese was truly delicious! We ate outside at tables overlooking the fairly quiet square. The service was quick and friendly. Recommended.

Early lunchtime. Restaurant empty.
Ask for a table "una persona sola"...get a small table for two, one of whose chairs is occupied by a handbag and staff utensils.
This chair is removed together with the bags.
There is no new chair (for my bag perhaps?) - and so you sit somewhat strangely as a single guest at a small table, without a chair opposite.
Perhaps the owners of the restaurant should try this out for themselves to see if it's comfortable from an atmospheric point of view...?
The Greek salad was ok, albeit with very few pieces of feta (although feta was the reason for this choice).
Otherwise: no menu card, just the unappealing QR code.

After four years, we returned to Palermo and returned to La Cambusa, where we found the same atmosphere—tidy, clean, and well-maintained—the same friendliness and helpfulness, and the traditional dishes, reinterpreted with a modern twist on traditional Sicilian cuisine.
The eggplant caponata was fabulous, the swordfish rolls were perfectly flavorful, the pianelle were crispy but not greasy, the dried fruit tart was delicious, and the deconstructed cannoli was astonishing. In short, when we return to Palermo, we already know where to eat.

Feeling fresh, we had lunch at the La Cambusa restaurant in Palermo and despite the heat outside a light fresh wind kept us company allowing us to enjoy a caponata with an identical flavor to my mother's and I won't add anything else, the tuna steak was good, seared in a pistachio crust, excellent swordfish rolls with almonds and citrus fruits, all accompanied by an excellent house catarratto in a carafe.
Simplicity, tradition in the dishes and a truly tidy and clean open kitchen

Nabij de haven gelegen Restarant met terrras, uitgekozen op basis van de reviews. Ontvangst was netjes. Via de ar code - menukaart - gekozen voor vis- goulash (deze was lekker) en lamskotelet - alleen vet, bijna geen vlees en teruggegeven. Keuken gaf aan dat een nieuw stukje lamskotelet er het zelfde uit zou zien en dus voor een ander gerecht gekozen: rundvlees. Was iets beter, maar het vlees zat deels vol met zenen, jammer! Na een dessert en een koffie, enigzins teleurgesteld vertrokken. We hadden er meer van verwacht. Prijs/ kwaliteit is redelijk.
