Very nice location, renovated in style with great taste. On the ground floor a simpler environment, but always in good taste, on the two upper floors a refined and welcoming environment. Excellent dishes, kindness and good value for money. Recommended.

We had a wonderful time and it was a truly pleasant experience, starting with the landscape and the view surrounding the village of Illegio. The wood and stone rooms are beautiful and welcoming, spread over several floors, clean, bright, and tastefully furnished. The atmosphere is serene, and the staff is young, kind, attentive, and well-organized. The dishes are tasty, carefully prepared, and pleasing to the eye and palate. We found everything delicious, especially the legendary cjarsons made with a secret recipe, the tocj in braide, the frico, the zucchini and Montasio flan, and the amaretto semifreddo. Compliments are well-deserved! We'll definitely be back at the first opportunity 😋

Excellent food, a beautiful and characteristic location, like the rest of this tiny village that hosts the restaurant. Impeccable and professional service, slightly above-average prices, but given the setting, it's understandable: €70 for two for a starter and a main course each, plus half a liter of house wine.

Beautiful, well-kept location, but impractical: small tables for two, and you have to ask for salt and oil. We asked if there was a table and they recommended arriving at noon and leaving at 1:15 PM. We arrived promptly and were asked to sit outside, where we waited for a quarter of an hour. Meanwhile, they asked us four times if we wanted anything, and each time we explained we were waiting for lunch, and each time they told us to wait. Bottom line: if I hadn't come in and ask again if it was ready, they wouldn't have remembered to call us. We had some very good first courses and a decent second course, but the fennel salad was truly ridiculous: a few bland, unseasoned slices. In short, there's room for improvement, especially in the organization.

A restaurant that fully respects Carnic tradition, both in the building and the furnishings, and especially in the food.
Located in the center of town, it is three stories high with a lovely patio at the back.
The cjarsons are excellent, and the owner is very kind.
It's best to pay cash, both for a slight discount and because the POS and internet connections aren't very friendly to the old building (you can't get any signal).
There's no parking, so it's a short walk to get there.

Very nice place with outdoor and indoor tables (3 floors). We went for lunch on Sunday and it was busy, so book in advance.
A splendid place where care, refinement, and a homely atmosphere reign supreme. Very kind and cheerful staff...considering they climb three flights of stairs to serve guests! The owner is welcoming, spontaneous, and friendly. The quality of the products served is excellent, reflecting Carnia's traditions. The herb cjarson are fantastic! Thank you, thank you again. I'll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. The interior design is stylish and inviting, with beautiful decorations that create a warm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience pleasant from start to finish. The food was delicious, and I especially liked how the restaurant is spread over an interesting three-floor layout—it adds character and charm. Definitely recommend!
