Illegio is a slice of paradise. "La buteghe di Pierute" is a beautiful, rustic setting, with meticulous attention to detail, from the service to the traditional Friulian food.

Honestly, I expected more traditional dishes, which were sparse, especially in the main courses. The portions are sufficient for a full lunch. The desserts could be improved. But overall, the quality is high, the staff are extremely kind and helpful, and the location is beautiful and quaint. Prices are substantial (don't even think about spending 30-40 euros).

Lovely place, characteristic and very well-kept environment, very kind waiters and managers. We ate very well. We will gladly return and we will certainly do good advertising. Thank you so much for treating us not as customers but as friends.

Super neat environment. We had lunch in 4 excellent food and attentive service with excellent and friendly staff worth trying. If I have the opportunity to be in that area I will definitely return.

19/05/2025: Excellent, we had a great explanation on how the hams are made, we were a group of 40 people, they made us eat divinely, thanks also to the cook
17/05/2025: Ham from San Daniele – well, it's known worldwide and truly an absolute specialty, and it's really interesting to take a look behind the scenes. Here, you'll be explained how ham production works and what is necessary to create such a specialty. Of course, there's also a tasting so you can convince yourself of the quality. At the end, as usual, you have the opportunity to take a small or larger piece of ham home with you directly from the producer :). It's definitely worth a look and is almost a must. Thanks for the insight, we really enjoyed it.
