Good location, good food, only downside is the service is a bit slow between courses.

La Bussola was the first restaurant to welcome us upon arrival in San Vincenzo, and—unsurprisingly in the height of season—they even seated us without a reservation. It was a truly pleasant start to our vacation. We ordered a truly fantastic platter: quality ingredients, plentiful, and carefully prepared. Looking around, we immediately understood why the place was always busy: the menu offers a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and the atmosphere is lively yet pleasant. The service is perfectly organized: dynamic, fast, and always friendly. Despite the constant coming and going of customers, the staff remains smiling and manages to convey a genuine sense of welcome. One thing that particularly struck us was that, every time we passed by the place in the following days, whoever was at the entrance greeted us with a smile. These are small gestures, but they really make a difference and demonstrate the care they give to people. When it came time to pay, we were greeted by a very kind young man, who asked us with genuine interest if everything had gone well. I don't know if he was the owner or a member of the State, but his courtesy and professionalism definitely deserve a mention... And let's face it: he was also a very handsome guy! Tanned, wearing a black shirt, it was impossible not to notice him. From that moment on, every time we passed by the reception desk, a glance always escaped towards the entrance... Just to see if the hottie was still there 😂. Jokes aside, this restaurant left us with wonderful memories: good food, efficient service, and a welcome that makes you feel immediately welcome. We happily recommend it.

A wonderful pizzeria restaurant. The staff is friendly and always available, and the food is delicious and high-quality. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

We were extremely disappointed with the food. We ordered the Tuscan ravioli with Bolognese sauce and the spaghetti carbonara. We received three ravioli with a small amount of sauce. Beforehand, we were given a basket of dry bread, which was charged at a very high price of €7.50. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and not at all enjoyable at this restaurant.

The pizza was delicious! Too bad we were at a table in the corner without air conditioning. I had to eat the really good pizza quickly so I could get up and go outside for some fresh air. It was very hot.

Excellent quality. We've been vacationing here for years and are very satisfied. The staff is also very friendly.

I appreciated the fact that they found me a table for four at 9:45 PM, but when I arrived, I was greeted by a waiter who said, "Did you come here because McDonald's was closed?" (As if that sounded funny). Unfortunately, it was very offensive because this man stared at my friends and I as if we were runaways or too young to come for pizza. I should point out that the woman who served us afterward was very competent and polite (tall with curly hair), but the bald man continued to stare at us with a judgmental expression throughout the evening. Even though the pizza was good, I wouldn't recommend a place where, upon entry, you're treated like someone "unworthy" of entering the restaurant.

Tried in July 2026. Large restaurant with an outdoor veranda on the pedestrian street in the center of San Vincenzo. The menu features seafood and meat dishes and a wide variety of pizzas. The pizza is thick-crusted, like a classic Neapolitan pizza. The tiramisu is excellent. Prices are average.

The two of us dined here and had a truly wonderful evening! For our starter, we shared the Pasta alla Barca – a traditional dish from the island of Elba. The pasta is prepared with a rich sauce made from various seafood, egg yolks, and béchamel, beautifully capturing the flavors of the sea. It was perfectly al dente, the seafood was fresh and tender, and the sauce incredibly aromatic. An absolute highlight that you absolutely must try! For our main courses, we had the Fritto Misto, wonderfully crispy, light, and not at all greasy, with a fantastic selection of freshly fried seafood and fish. We also ordered the Cozze alla Livornese – fresh mussels in a spicy tomato and garlic sauce, Livornese style. The sauce was so delicious that you just want to mop it up with bread. Everything was superbly prepared, the quality of the ingredients was excellent, and you could taste the freshness of the produce. The service was very friendly, attentive, and courteous. We felt comfortable from the first moment to the last and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic fish and seafood cuisine.
