Exceptional gelato made by the owner's son, who runs the Girasole pastry shop in Malè. The gelato flavors are the result of a creative flair that expertly combines local ingredients. I recommend the flavors: Vermiglio (pine flavor) and Casolet with berries.

04/01/2026: Lunch break after visiting the Vertemate Palace, excellent choice, beautiful rustic but well-equipped place, friendly and fast service with excellent dishes in terms of quality and quantity (the ribs were special). Ms. Sofia was very kind and welcoming, helping us from ordering to coffee. Well done, we'll see you again and I'll spread the word because it's worth it.

03/10/2025: A gem! A former fortress lovingly renovated to a modern and comfortable standard! Plus, two welcoming hosts – simply wonderful!
25/09/2025: We came today with our dog. The staff was very kind and helpful; we had excellent polenta for lunch, followed by a delicious buckwheat cake. Despite my dog's constant barking, the owner remained friendly and kind. Highly recommended refuge in a beautiful valley with high-quality service and food. I can only give it 5 stars.
