Very nice place in the center of Orvieto good food but the tourist menu mode (drinks and cover charge excluded) makes it a bit "manual" of the type come on eat pay and go we need the table 😅 (I understand) anyway a good place to eat something in the streets of the center 👍

Wonderful food, we ordered the umbrichelli al tartufo and maiale coto al forno.... In addition to the classic white Orvieto wine, delicious.

I'll start with the positive aspects of this lunch: - All three of the wait staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the woman who explained the menu and stopped to chat with my mother and me throughout the meal. - As for the food, I was very pleased with the selection of cured meats as an appetizer, and the pork with baked potatoes was spectacular. - However, the first courses left me perplexed for two reasons: - I had ordered tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, but from the smell (and then the taste), I suspected the meat in the sauce wasn't wild boar, but beef (my mother, tasting it, had the same impression). I've eaten wild boar sauce several times in different restaurants, and homemade (so I can easily distinguish its flavor and aroma), and I'm absolutely certain that the pasta was topped with beef sauce. I shared my concerns about the meat with the lady in the dining room (trying not to be disrespectful), but she still seemed to take it personally and argued that it was a question of the quality of the meat. However, as kind as she was to my mother and me during lunch, I still think I ate a decent meat sauce, but not wild boar. - The first course my mother ordered (umbriachelli al bosco, a sausage and mushroom dish), while delicious, was served at the table behind us with truffle shavings added toward the end of the meal. I don't know if the addition of truffle was supposed to be requested when ordering (and perhaps they forgot to tell us), but serving the same dish with that addition to other diners didn't seem very fair to us. - The price (about €41 per person), for what we ate, seemed a bit steep.

Excellent service, well served, well eaten

Excellent food, I recommend the chestnut and mushroom soup.

A charming, family-run restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables; however, the indoor ones are too close to each other. The menu is either set or à la carte, offering traditional, simple yet delicious dishes: the mixed platter featured good-quality ingredients, and the main courses were satisfying. The staff was attentive and quick. The prices are average. The restaurant also has an Etruscan cave, which the owner proudly shows all her customers.

We had a great lunch here, perfect location and lots of gluten free options. We had the menu, which was also available GF that included bruscetta, pasta, and a meat dish (forgot to take a picture of the sausages we had, they were also delicious). We were certainly full after that! Mum ordered the lamb cutlets with some veggies which she enjoyed.

Una bellissima sorpresa in pieno centro a Orvieto. Servizio impeccabile, si viene incontro alle richieste del cliente, il cibo è spettacolare ma soprattutto il menù turistico è una vera sorpresa. Porzioni abbondati e qualità ottima. Prezzo sicuramente in linea con la qualità.....a fine pranzo c'è una sorpresa da visitare......consigliatissimo

Het eten was heerlijk, bediening wat minder. Geen lepel bij de spaghetti geen kaas. Geen smakelijk eten. Bij het afrekenen lang wachten. Zou er voor het eten heen gaan maar niet voor de service
