Everything was really excellent, I am a butcher and I must say that I tasted a truly special Florentine steak. Congratulations to the owner, his son and the other boys from the friend from Rieti who played football and not football 😂😂

We were in this place, or rather "home", as the owner defines it, a few days ago. Sublime food: excellent tripe, amazing liver crostini and fantastic pici with wild boar ragout. House red wine that accompanied everything well. Great start to our holidays!

Restaurant where you eat really well! My wife and I had the pici with garlic and crumbs. Amazing!!! Excellent homemade desserts. The only small flaw was the house wine, served hot, it was very good but if it had arrived a little cooler we would have liked it more. Normal prices, considering that it is located in the center of Montepulciano. Very kind and friendly owner. Professional, polite and helpful staff. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed here, as a family. Fast service, excellent welcome. Excellent quality food at lower than average prices (for Montepulciano and in the middle of July!). The waiters, despite being very young, were very attentive and professional, as well as smiling. The owner even gave us the recipe for an appetizer that was served to us with the bread. An anti-waste recipe made with stale bread, tomato and more... So good that before dessert we asked for another portion to share! But if you want the recipe... you have to go and eat at their place! We will definitely return the first chance we find ourselves in Montepulciano!

We found this restaurant by chance but it turned out to be wonderful, the manager is his son, they made us feel at home with their friendliness and they passed on their Tuscan tradition to us

Locale curato e molto accogliente, ampio con due piani di sale e anche qualche tavolo in esterno. Piatti tipici ottimi, consigliati i pici.. antipasto con taglio di salumi. Attenzione e gentilezza. Assolutamente da provare

06/08/2024: I ate here with friends for lunch twice and dinner once while touring Siena. The food was excellent. For lunch the second time we had the Crostini with Anchovies, Pesto and Burrata Stracciatella ( (Toasted Bread With Anchovies In Parsley Pesto Sauce And Stracciatella Cheese), Tartare di Manzo (Beef Tartare, Chives, and Sweet Paprika Mayonnaise) , and Pici All’ Aglione della Valdichiana e Briciole (Homemade Tuscan Pasta with Garlic, Tomato Sauce and Brean Crumbs) for lunch. the main courses we enjoyed for dinner were: Ossobuco alla Senese, Controfiletto Di Manzo E Cipolla Caramellata (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Caramelized Onions,) and Controfiletto Di Manzo, Olio E Rosmarino (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Oil And Rosemary.) Our sides were Patate al Forno (oven roasted potatoes), Spinaci Saltati (slated spinach). The food, expertly prepared (my complements to the chefs from a fellow chef), the service very friendly, helpful and professional, and the atmosphere of this restaurant could not be beat.

18/08/2024: Located in a suggestive location among the narrow streets of Siena... you don't expect to find a great little gem... a place of great charm... the curiosity was whether the dishes respected the location... expectations respected... Tuscan dishes from ancient flavor but made modern... the genuine quality was perceived throughout... we wanted typical non-touristy dishes... and we guessed it... impossible to indicate one dish superior to another given that everyone (there were six of us) chose something different and in the end we tasted them all... I agree that they were all excellent and then it clearly depends on personal taste... for example I don't eat meat but the steak was very good and tender... I could have eaten it too. ..prepared and kind staff...thanks to Paolo the Owner who guided us pleasantly in the choices...and also told us a bit of the story given our curiosity about the exhibited photos of famous people who passed through his restaurant and the architecture particular of the place...excellent experience thank you very much
