La Briciola In Montepulciano

Big disappointment with Bitteca Fiorentina....we couldn't eat it. Not what we expected for the price and setup of the restaurant.

Very nice place given its secluded location but practically adjacent to the main street of Montepulciano. The service was excellent, both father and son are very prepared and helpful and made the evening very pleasant and light. We liked the food in general, we would have preferred slightly more abundant and tasty portions in some cases, but in any case the evening was pleasant and I recommend it. Prices in the average of Montepulciano

Che dire ! Alfredo sempre il miglior oste insieme al figlio che è sulla giusta strada 😜 locale caratteristico con menù tipico poliziano . Prezzi ottimi ! Qualità super.

It's a great restaurant! We had an excellent meal and the owner's son recommended both the food and the wine! Without a doubt a must-stop to enjoy the good tea Poliziana!!

We stopped by this restaurant by chance while on a motorbike tour. The pici with wild boar sauce are excellent and the beans are also excellent. Their reinterpretation of tiramisu is excellent. Acceptable price considering that we are in Montepulciano...I would return

We were there for lunch today, we ate very well, excellent quality food and the staff were courteous, kind and undoubtedly nice!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Great food, very friendly and helpful staff

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for lunch and we were really impressed! The place is very nice, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. What makes it even more special is that it is family run: the owner is very nice and kind, and even his son, despite his young age, proved to be extremely good and professional. We ordered the pici all'aglione and the pici cacio e pepe, both handmade and gluten-free: simply amazing! I had never eaten such good pici, perfect in texture and flavour. They also brought us some bread - both with gluten and without - and there too was a surprise: the Schiacciata (with gluten) with tomato and oregano won over my boyfriend, while my gluten-free bread was fresh, crunchy and delicious (which is rare for Gluten Free bread, we celiacs know this well). Obviously, obligatory shoes! We then tasted a delicious pecorino pie with pear jam, also gluten-free: delicate, tasty, perfectly balanced in flavours. To conclude, my boyfriend had the ricotta, pear and chocolate tart, which he described as "amazing". The only gluten free alternative among the desserts was panna cotta. I highly recommend this restaurant both to those who eat gluten and, above all, to those who have celiac disease: the variety of gluten-free options is remarkable and, even more importantly, they pay great attention to contamination, a fundamental aspect. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. When we return to Montepulciano, a stop at La Briciola will be a must!

Il paese è molto grazioso, anche se tutto in salita,… Trovato questo ristorante che si trova un po’ all’interno, locale caldo e accogliente, un po’ vecchio stile, accoglienza gentile e cibo veramente buono: mangiato crostini di lardo e pecorino e una ribollita veramente buona. Più che promossi!
