La Brente is a small restaurant with a big heart. I had already been here about 18 years ago, when it was run by the parents of the current manager and nothing has changed in the courtesy and quality of the dishes offered. From several reviews it seems clear that "la carbonara" is the Top dish, but the other first courses and the meats are no less. Some criticize the poor choice of wine, but, guys, we are in Friuli and if they bring me an excellent bottled wine without a label I certainly won't complain. Excellent choice for an evening with friends!

I had been told about this place in particular for the pasta alla carbonara... I had a lot of expectations as several people had recommended it to me... I would say it was worth it... the pasta is really worth it... to recommend and return to...

Reservation required and leave your watch at home, in the sense that everything is prepared on the spot and this leads to long waiting times even between one course and another. Well done to the owner ILenia.

Super recommended place. Rustic furnishings, very warm and welcoming. Friendly and professional staff. Truly TOP quality of food and preparation, all EXQUISITE. The only flaw is long waiting times but if you want to spend a quiet evening with excellent food and wine it is truly the ideal place

The place offers primarily Roman pasta in particular. The cacio e pepe is missing. As for the others... being the highlight... I recommend looking into it carefully.

Reservations required, the place has few seats. The place is evidently historic, very beautiful, rustic to the right degree.
The dishes are really good, with first courses from Lazio cuisine (spectacular carbonara) and second courses of high quality meat. The tiramisu we shared (the portions of all courses are generous) was among the best we found outside of home.
An appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, a dessert, half a liter of wine, water and coffee €88, more than fair considering quantity and quality.
Last but not least the service, everyone was kind and friendly. We will be back for sure!
