Everything was perfect. Quality food and very friendly service, explaining the ingredients of the dishes. A special mention for the Dolce e Forte wild boar crostini... Truly delicious. (Dolce e Forte is a typical Tuscan cooking method with dark chocolate and wine.)

The owners are two very cheerful people who welcome you into their restaurant and make you feel at home. Their warmth, kindness, and cheerfulness shine through in their dishes, where, thanks to the use of fresh, carefully selected ingredients, they create dishes that are meticulously crafted, beautiful to look at, and delicious to die for. The quality and prices are good... we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Absolutely to die for! We came here for my mother’s birthday dinner, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We began with the wild boar and pecorino cheese fondue served on Tuscan bread, simply fantastic. That was followed by pici (a type of pasta) with wild boar and candied lemon, which was absolutely to die for. The candied lemon added a bright, unexpected twist that made the dish truly unforgettable. Next came the beef tagliata with vegetables, some of the best vegetables we’ve ever had, especially the zucchini, which we later learned they grow themselves. For dessert, we had the warm chocolate cake, which was rich and indulgent. The wine list is also excellent, an essential touch when dining in Tuscany. The food and service made the evening so special and turned my mother’s birthday into a night we’ll always remember. We loved it so much that we came back the next day for dinner to explore more of the menu. We started again with the wild boar on bread, it was simply too good to skip. Then came the grilled pheasant ravioli and the tagliatelle with duck. Both were outstanding, but the ravioli was on another level, I know I’ll be craving it for a long time. We even ordered a side of roasted zucchini again because they were just that good. You can tell that Martina and Filippo, she runs the front of house, and he’s the chef, are not only a couple, but also deeply passionate about what they do. They’re both incredibly warm and welcoming, and their energy brings something truly special to the whole experience. Every dish was flawless. I honestly can’t stress enough how amazing this place is. A must-visit!

A truly unique restaurant experience, where the food and service were at a really high level. 🍷 We ate here the first night we arrived in Volpaia. Since we had 2 nights, we had to come back after the fantastic experience we had the first night. So we booked a table again for the next day .. which we did NOT regret at all, where we again received unbeatable service and food. Huge recommendation of their homemade ice cream, the best pistachio and hazelnut ice cream we have ever tasted 🤤🤤 Huge recommendation from here and we will return ourselves next time we are in the area ☺️🇮🇹

We had a delicious dinner here thanks to the recommendation from our hotel Pieve Aldina. The courgette risotto was one of the best thing we ate on our whole trip. Asif (our waiter) was also amazing. He made sure we were really well looked after. Definitely visit!

Can’t say enough good things about how incredible our meal was. Martina and Phillip are amazing. The food was out of this world (duck pasta and steak were our favorites as well as the beef appetizer and hazelnut gelato. YUM!!) and the ambiance was magical. If you are within six hours of this place, work it in your itinerary to stop by. One of the very best meals of our entire trip.

We arrived just as the kitchen was closing. Even so, we received excellent service from everyone at the restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service were wonderful. Wine and long-neck beer were also available. The best ice cream in the Chianti region.

La Bottega di Volpaia non tradisce mai. Sono tornata per mangiare la bistecca e sono stata travolta dalle bontà e tenerezza della carne. Incantevole location, in un borgo bellissimo, con un terrazzo vista panoramica sulle campagne toscane del chiantigiano, abbiamo gradito e apprezzato formaggi, primi con tartufo, dolci e soprattutto vino della casa veramente eccellente. Consigliatissimo
