We went to eat there because the restaurant is named after our children...
But we went back the next day because we ate divinely! The products? Excellent!m (the bread and oil alone deserve 5 stars) The cuisine? The typical one (finally!) The price? Really adequate. The welcome? Perfect! Definitely a place that deserves much more than many other restaurants in Lucca!
And, it has nothing to do with the food, but the very clean bathroom is worth mentioning.

Best meal in Tuscany during our 9-day trip!
Out of all the meals we had, this one stood out by far. The ciccia tagliata di manzo was perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, and just right. But the real surprise? The baked potatoes. Absolutely dreamy. They were so good we actually ordered another round just for the side dish!
The setting added to the experience — a romantic terrace with a beautiful view. Prices were very reasonable for the quality.
Highly recommend making a reservation, but we were lucky to get a table without one. Truly unforgettable!

Convita dalle numerose recensioni positive ho voluto provare quest’osteria, e non sono rimasta delusa anzi, non è facile esprimere tutto quello che si prova, ottimo cibo, qualità alta e piatti dai sapori intensi e gustosi, la simpatia di Claudio e la maestria della moglie ti fanno sentire a casa, perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo.
Andate e non ve ne pentirete, unica regola: seguire tutte le regole di Claudio!

L'attesa esterna sotto la pioggia dove ti impediscono di entrare tramite una sbarra é veramente di poca educazione!!! (vabbé l'ironia toscana ma c'è sempre un limite).
Orribile la finta staccionata in legno che percorre tutto il locare al suo perimetro interno.
Il tutto viene però compensato grazie all'ottima cucina!!! Piatti veramente ben fatti e proprio buoni con un rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente.
Eccezionali le "rovelline" ed i "maccheroni"!!!!
Servizi igienici anche se unisex puliti e tenuti bene.
Un bel caldino d'inverno.
E soprattutto non tendono a mandarti via velocemente anche se altra gente é in attesa.
Bravi!!!!
