Lovely trattoria, with typical local products. The pork butcher's platter is very good and features unique ingredients. Excellent first courses (amazing chitarrini). Fairly priced, highly recommended.

From the welcome to the bill...everything was perfect! A little gem in the center of Lucca. A family-run business with great hospitality! Excellent quality ingredients, exquisite local appetizers, and equally delicious first courses. Fair prices. If we ever find ourselves in the Lucca area again, we'll definitely try the other dishes.

We had dinner at this delightful trattoria and enjoyed truly exquisite local dishes! The host and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. And I warn you: this trattoria doesn't serve French fries, carbonara, or hamburgers, but everything else is delicious!

Ambiente semplice ma accogliente. Cucina locale con piatti molto curati. Particolarmente gradita "la ciccia dell'oste" ed un filetto tenerissimo. Non curatevi dei cartelli esposti, sono umoristici, il titolare è molto gentile e simpatico così come sua figlia. Non si mangia solo, è un'esperienza.

Convita dalle numerose recensioni positive ho voluto provare quest’osteria, e non sono rimasta delusa anzi, non è facile esprimere tutto quello che si prova, ottimo cibo, qualità alta e piatti dai sapori intensi e gustosi, la simpatia di Claudio e la maestria della moglie ti fanno sentire a casa, perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo. Andate e non ve ne pentirete, unica regola: seguire tutte le regole di Claudio!

23/08/2025: A great option for those who need to eat gluten-free, but also want to avoid sacrificing anything. The entire menu is also available in a gluten-free version. Fried food is superb, very dry, and plentiful.
04/08/2025: A small seaside restaurant with poolside tables. An atmosphere that exudes calm, relaxation, and privacy. The aperitif with cocktails and assorted canapés was wonderful, all accompanied by welcoming, professional, and friendly service. Then we get to the food itself: fabulous appetizers, with even better first courses! Everything was excellent quality, and the fish was incredibly fresh, beautifully seasoned, and with excellent flavors. Overall, 5 stars are not enough. **A special mention goes to their ability to accommodate gluten-free menu requests, which is not always easy to find.
