We ate very well, a spaghetti with sausage and cheese and a wild boar dish (very good) highly recommended

Convita dalle numerose recensioni positive ho voluto provare quest’osteria, e non sono rimasta delusa anzi, non è facile esprimere tutto quello che si prova, ottimo cibo, qualità alta e piatti dai sapori intensi e gustosi, la simpatia di Claudio e la maestria della moglie ti fanno sentire a casa, perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo. Andate e non ve ne pentirete, unica regola: seguire tutte le regole di Claudio!

In my first stay in Lucca (I really liked it so I hope there are others!) I had clear ideas about what I wanted to eat, their most typical dishes, tordelli, rovellina and torte con i becchi. I found all this in this typical tavern, we were welcomed, excellent service and food, all delicious!

L'attesa esterna sotto la pioggia dove ti impediscono di entrare tramite una sbarra é veramente di poca educazione!!! (vabbé l'ironia toscana ma c'è sempre un limite). Orribile la finta staccionata in legno che percorre tutto il locare al suo perimetro interno. Il tutto viene però compensato grazie all'ottima cucina!!! Piatti veramente ben fatti e proprio buoni con un rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Eccezionali le "rovelline" ed i "maccheroni"!!!! Servizi igienici anche se unisex puliti e tenuti bene. Un bel caldino d'inverno. E soprattutto non tendono a mandarti via velocemente anche se altra gente é in attesa. Bravi!!!!

09/03/2025: Lunch spent with friends, I had never been before, the view over the entire plain of Lucca was beautiful. Very good and plentiful food, very good homemade pasta, you can feel that it is fresh as soon as you put it in your mouth, delicious tortelli, fettuccine with buckwheat and truffle, (real truffle) not the sauces, very good pappardelle with wild boar (for wild boar ask if they have it because you can't find it on the menu) The grilled meat was excellent and the dessert was the apple puff pastry with super vanilla ice cream! Very good prices and excellent red house wine. If you want to go, call well in advance because it is difficult to find a place as it is very small inside, while in the summer I think it also has outdoor tables.
