Wonderful hidden gem in the hills with very nice staff and wonderful food.

Excellent meal overall! Ravioli, pasta with truffle, and burrata were all exceptional and highly recommended. Great spot for lunch after touring the winery.

By far the best meal I've had during my stay in Italy. Food was outstanding, the staff was exceptional and Carla, the owner, was so inviting and friendly. She is a special lady. I will definitely visit La Bottega the next time I'm in Tuscany.

Arriving in the beautiful village of Volpaia, we couldn't help but stop at La Bottega: an authentic restaurant under a pergola with a splendid view of the Siena hills. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming, and the products were of the highest quality. We enjoyed an excellent cold cuts platter with crostini, pici pasta with venison, and ricotta and spinach ravioli: everything was truly excellent. A place I absolutely recommend!

The food in Italy has been amazing BUT nothing compares to the food, service, and atmosphere of La Bottega. Carla (owner) is the warmest most welcoming person in all of Tuscany. The food is delicious and Gina's (Mama) cakes are exceptional!!

I've been coming with friends and family for at least six years during the L'Eroica weekend. The food and atmosphere are top-notch, but what amazes us every time is the dining room management. Every table is full, both inside and out, orders are constant, dishes come in and out of the kitchen quickly but without urgency, and somehow everything works perfectly. The dining room is responsive, communicating well with the kitchen and vice versa, at least from what we, as guests, have experienced. The waiters are extremely kind and remember all our specific requests, sequences, and whims without creating any confusion. The different courses always arrive at the right time and at the right temperature. We often leave wondering how they manage to move and communicate so well without shouting, snapping, or otherwise creating tension in the dining room. Usually, one of us will say, "They're great," and the others nod. The experience is remarkable, and we always return with great pleasure. They're great.

We have eaten at La Bottega di Volpaia on several occasions and are never disappointed. The service is wonderful, the food is delicious and the outdoor tables have the most beautiful view. We love it!

Showed up 15 minutes early and caught the most gorgeous sunset over the hills with the city glowing below. absolutely magical. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming, with incredible Italian food and friendly service. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully done. A true hidden gem!
