One of the best dishes I ever had were the picci with ragu. I was so impressed, that it's possible gluten free, I never saw glutenfree picci anywhere. I was there last summer and I'm still thinking about them together with the red wine from Montepulciano, it was a dream!

On our way back from a beautiful site seeing we were recommended to LA Bottega Del Nobile. True Tuscanian experience with true Toscana food with a twist. Great option when visiting Montepulciano. Service was a little off but they made up by not charging us one of the dishes. So the attention was very much appreciated. Atmosphere could be way better. Lights need to be darker so that it compliments the beautiful authenticity of winery vibes.

In der letzten Woche hatte ich das Glück, dass ich meinen 60. Geburtstag in der La Bottega del Nobile feiern konnte. Von der Planung des Events mit Davide über die Durchführung ist alles perfekt gelaufen. Wir hatten ein fantastisches Fünf Gang Menü was geschmacklich seines gleichen sucht und eine außergewöhnlich tolle Weinbegleitung. Sowohl das Menü als auch die Weinbegleitung wurden von Davide zusammengestellt. Hier sind wir dann in den Genuss toller und hochwertiger Weine gekommen. Oft bekommt man ja bei einer Weinreise nur durchschnittliche Weine zu einem ambitionierten Preis. Das war hier aber absolut nicht der Fall. Der ganze Abend wurde von dem Team absolut professionell, dazu aber sehr herzlich und aufmerksam begleitet. Das i-Tüpfelchen waren dann die Erläuterungen des Sommelier, der mit seiner charmanten Art auch die Personen abgeholt hat, die keine Weinkenner sind. Wenn man den Abend mit Punkten bewerten müsste, wären es 110 Punkte von 100 möglichen. Vielen Dank noch einmal an dich persönlich Davide und Dein ganzes Team

01/11/2025: An unforgettable tasting experience! We participated in a truly wonderful wine tasting. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, the wines were of excellent quality and perfectly explained in every detail. A special thanks to Vito, who was simply fantastic: knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate, he shared all his knowledge clearly and engagingly, making us appreciate each glass with curiosity and pleasure. An experience I would recommend to anyone who loves wine and wants to experience an authentic and deeply meaningful experience.

19/10/2025: Returned a few years later for a birthday, and Mattia and his staff were always the same kind. Pici with hazelnuts and cocoa were sublime, as were excellent main courses, and the snails were amazing. A quiet and relaxed atmosphere for lunch in the beech forest. Keep it up!! See you soon!
19/10/2025: One of the most beautiful discoveries of my life... Taking advantage of the beauty of autumn in the wonderful Amiata, we stopped in this idyllic place by chance. It couldn't have been a better choice!!! The entrance doormat alone had convinced me, a Hollywood-style setting. Mattia, the "host," welcomed us with a smile for an evening that will remain unforgettable. With all the calm, kindness, and verve on this planet (it's increasingly rare to find such hospitality), Mattia explained the dishes and helped us choose, accommodating even the most difficult requests. The quality of the dishes was excellent, the price truly fair. I rarely write reviews, but this place, in that context, deserves a poem!!! See you soon!
