My new favorite place. At first glance, the atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere might seem like the restaurant's selling points, but that's only because you haven't tried anything yet. The cuisine is amazing, served in a casual, homey atmosphere. The vibrant wine list has a story to tell if you take the time to listen.

From the appetizer to the first and second courses, this little place really surprised us. Creamed cod, amberjack carpaccio and fried anchovies much better than many classy restaurants... Spaghetti alla puttanesca di mare very tasty, caponata with mackerel made with real caponata... Saltimbocca with sea bass and cardoncelli mushrooms to die for!! Desserts equally good, the only flaw was that the creams were a bit at room temperature, which is perfect for the winter but in the heat I prefer them colder. Heartfelt compliments also for the service done in an informal manner but with so much sympathy and courtesy 🔝

Un po’ di diffidenza iniziale. Arriviamo su consiglio di un amico e il locale non è niente di che. Poi ordiniamo e tutto cambia. Il pesce è pescato, niente roba d’allevamento. Nel piatto si sente tutto. In ogni pietanza c’è della creatività senza voglia di strafare. Tutto in equilibrio, niente roba pasticciata. I sapori arrivano dritti, puliti. Le mani che preparano sono mani di chi sa come rispettare le cose buone che sta lavorando. Le porzioni giuste. I dolci una chicca. Il conto davvero onesto. Una bella carta dei vini che sperimenterò presto. Questo locale è la dimostrazione che molte delle perle della ristorazione romana sono ancora lontane dalle guide, dai profili Instagram fighetti e dagli influencer glam. Si vola altissimi, e senza menarsela. E scusate se è poco.

04/09/2025: Today was a messy and tiring day from the start, but eating here made it the perfect day. It was the best meal I've had in Rome. I went for lunch and it was so delicious that I went again for dinner this evening. I think delicious food and a friendly smile really make people happy👍🏻 Everything was delicious, but the dish in the second photo, the risotto with squid and mussels, was the best! Thank you for the delicious food. Grazie~~
27/08/2025: The best meal we've had in Rome. The menu is small but carefully curated. We ordered the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a rich, smoky sauce that balanced the flavours beautifully. For dessert, we enjoyed a mascarpone mousse atop a fresh strawberry glaze. The whole experience was enjoyable and look forward to visiting again.
