A simple and welcoming place, with a few seats inside and a dozen outside: an intimate atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The open kitchen is a pleasant surprise, exuding authenticity and allowing you to perceive the care with which the dishes are prepared. The menu is written on a blackboard and offers refined dishes. Every dish I tried was a pleasant discovery, carefully crafted and truly delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming: you can feel the owners' passion in every gesture, from the welcome to the presentation of the dishes. Prices are appropriately moderately high, considering the quality and experience offered. Among the appetizers, the delicious pork shoulder meatballs are noteworthy; among the first courses, the gnocchi and the fish soup. The kitchen is open, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is cheerful yet professional.

My new favorite place. At first glance, the atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere might seem like the restaurant's selling points, but that's only because you haven't tried anything yet. The cuisine is amazing, served in a casual, homey atmosphere. The vibrant wine list has a story to tell if you take the time to listen.

Scoperto per caso si è rilevato davvero un ristorantino molto buono con prodotti freschi ed eccellente cantina. Ci torneremo.

Un po’ di diffidenza iniziale. Arriviamo su consiglio di un amico e il locale non è niente di che. Poi ordiniamo e tutto cambia. Il pesce è pescato, niente roba d’allevamento. Nel piatto si sente tutto. In ogni pietanza c’è della creatività senza voglia di strafare. Tutto in equilibrio, niente roba pasticciata. I sapori arrivano dritti, puliti. Le mani che preparano sono mani di chi sa come rispettare le cose buone che sta lavorando. Le porzioni giuste. I dolci una chicca. Il conto davvero onesto. Una bella carta dei vini che sperimenterò presto. Questo locale è la dimostrazione che molte delle perle della ristorazione romana sono ancora lontane dalle guide, dai profili Instagram fighetti e dagli influencer glam. Si vola altissimi, e senza menarsela. E scusate se è poco.
