I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with a friend in August. I had never been there. The venue is tastefully furnished, with attention to every detail, from the combination of pastel colors to the choice of cones of shadow and light. The cuisine is of a high standard. The wide range of dishes described in a refined way immediately raises the level of expectation. The experience on the palate goes further. The flavors blend in an explosion of pleasure. The wine list is up to par. The service is also adequate. I will definitely come back.

Food was good overall. However service was rushed. A lady, probably the owner was rushing all over the restaurant making us feel on edge. Nice place overall, however keep the lady behind the till dealing with the bills and leave the service in the hands of the others.

The place is great: discreet in its location, right in the center and close to the main avenue, open by the kitchen separated from the room by a window.
The rather small menu marks a cuisine with fresh and very fine products.
We had a very, very good time; only downside: despite ordering dessert, we were forgotten until we reminded them that we were expecting it.

Small but very welcoming place. Menu full of dishes with notes of originality that enhance traditional flavours. We had creamed risotto with sesame cream and spiced butter from Alberelli, ravioli filled with tomato puree garnished with smoked herring, gurnard and Iberian pig, Mirtilla dessert. Everything excellent. Courteous and quick service. Reasonable price. Congratulations to the "sparkling" Matilde. Don't miss it!

Wir waren 2023 zweimal und im Juli 2024 einmal beim Essen in der Trattoria La Botte. Für uns ist diese Trattoria das beste Speiselokal in Stresa. Die Empfehlung im Guide Michelin ist gerechtfertigt. Der Service ist hervorragend. Die Gerichte sind besonders. Die hausgemachten Ravioli sind ein Traum, das Risotto einfach perfekt. Wer Lamm gerne isst, sollte den Lammrücken mit Spinat probieren. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen.

We have written a rewiev of this restaurant before but it is so great it deserves a new one. If you are in Stresa and can have a table( prebook!) you should go! You are in for a superb experiece. The chef really cares about making delicious food. And the “mama” rules in the restaurant with great help from the sons. It seems shift of generation are in proces in a very competent way.
