We have been in this restaurant 2 nights row. The first astonishing thing is that this restaurant has two different entrances and you think you are in two different restaurants. The first is like a fresh garden, with wood roof, lemon trees, everything yellow and green. The other is like an old tavern, blu and red with many pictures about the volcano.
The pizza is extraordinary, the fish plates perfect and the service excellent.
The price is right.

It was the first time we were at La Basilica for New Year's Eve dinner and we had a great time: very good food, satisfactory quantity, very courteous staff (I would add reasonable, we had 2 very small children and they didn't "force" us to take the children's menu despite the holiday, for each of them they literally offered us: juice for the welcome toast, plate of pasta, dessert).
Reserved environment a few steps from Piazza Tasso.
Definitely recommended!

Excellent pizza and very friendly service. We went in winter, and the chairs have uncomfortable backs, they are for outdoors.

6th January: Epiphany and our last night of a fantastic holiday in Sorrento.We wanted to have a celebration - a last meal before going home. La Basilica did the job perfectly. The high point was our ‘Catch of the day’: an enormous sea bream cooked in a buttery sauce. It was brought to our table, filleted and served (cheeks included!) Absolutely delicious. What a perfect end to our stay on the Amalfi Coast. Thanks to all the staff at the Basilica. You did us proud!

Comida riquísima !! Todos los platos y postres que probamos excelentes , los precios normales . El servicio excelente , con el plus de la atención del lemoncello sin cargo y el pan de pizza a modo de atención . El ambiente muy bien decorado , limpio y con buena música . El mozo muy atento
