Very friendly, good pizza and pasta expensive cheesecake

Don't be fooled by the welcoming words and beautiful smiles, after you sit down you are treated like you are from the third world. It was definitely a mistake to stop at this location.

The tuna in a pistachio crust was amazing! Likewise the grilled vegetables. Rarely eaten so well. Excellent service! We'd love to come back.

Excellent place for a relaxed meal, very kind staff, quality environment and price, delicious food, I recommend it to everyone.

Four of us were there and left deeply disappointed, there is no worse way to represent Italian cuisine in an Italian place. Two menus, one grilled squid and the other an octopus salad, looked identical, except that the side dishes were different... everything was cold. The other two menus, one grilled steak and one schnitzel with pasta, were also rather cold. Plus water and all for over €130, simply overpriced for this quality. The steak was somewhat edible, although it was also served quite cold. Shortly afterwards, a heated steel plate was added (apparently they realized that the steak was cold). There’s a star for that! We complained immediately and they tried to reassure us with four free drinks.

Last night we visited La Barchetta restaurant, a renowned institution in Campione. The new manager welcomed us with kindness, friendliness and an engaging sense of hospitality, making us feel immediately at ease. He demonstrated knowledge and professionalism in competently illustrating the qualities of the dishes and wines. The staff also maintained high standards of service and quality. We will be back!

We had dinner as a couple on Saturday evening, an excellent welcome from the owners, kind, hospitable and ready to create a friendly and informal atmosphere... The dishes we tasted were excellent, both the warm octopus with potatoes and the Mediterranean turbot ( really tasty)...Plause to the chef also for the dessert, all strictly homemade, we really enjoyed the frangipane and almond cake...We will definitely be back and in the meantime we wish you good luck 😊

I rediscovered the renovated Barchetta di Campione, with an innovative spirit and intimate atmosphere. The new management welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, wonderful people, attentive to the customer. Renovated menu, tasty dishes, excellent value for money! Italian and French wines! I highly recommend, we spent an evening, 5 stars🌹🍾
