Il punto di forza, a mio parere, è la location: tavolini direttamente sulla spiaggia. Ci sono tavoli anche al coperto, ma sinceramente consiglio di aspettare una giornata adatta e mangiare fuori. Ovviamente anche le pietanze devono essere all'altezza e secondo me lo sono. Noi abbiamo preso 1 antipasto di pesce (va bene anche diviso in due), due grigliate di pesce (abbondante e ottima), due dessert, due caffè, un calice di vino ed una birra, spendendo circa 100 euro (in due ovviamente). Il servizio è stato rapido nonostante il locale fosse al completo, i camerieri gentili ed in grado di dare le 'dritte giuste'. Lo consiglio assolutamente, ma meglio se il clima è giusto per godere dei tavoli all'aperto (non c'è copertura).

La Baracca di Follonica was a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is welcoming and immediately put us at ease. We started with an excellent appetizer, fresh and full of flavors, which immediately raised our expectations. The seafood risotto was perfect, cooked just right and with a truly remarkable mix of seafood flavours. The fried food, light and crunchy, was the finishing touch of a delicious dinner. Not only did the cuisine win us over, but also the staff, who were friendly, always smiling and helpful, making us feel pampered like at home. The care and kindness in the service made the experience truly special. I highly recommend La Baracca to anyone looking for an evening of good food and hospitality. We can't wait to return!

Our favorite place when we are in Follonica. Everything perfect!! good value for money! Fish is always a guarantee of goodness! The desserts are unsurpassed: The trifle is without equal!!

What can I say... La Baracca and its staff are always a guarantee. High quality fish, simple, well-prepared, abundant dishes with an authentic taste. Attentive, punctual, courteous service. The location... the icing on the cake!

I have been coming to Follonica since I was a child but I had never been to this restaurant. One word to describe everything PERFECT...impeccable and very kind service. The cuisine is very good, 2 truly exceptional fish dishes.

Pranzo superlativo. Ottimo pesce antipasto di mare e grigliata di pesce buonissima. Dolci della casa . Quantità abbondante. Personale gentile e disponibile. Locale sulla spiaggia e tavoli anche all'interno con climatizzatore. Consiglio la prenotazione. Quantità prezzo nella norma.

01/12/2023: Location of this restaurant is in a cave. The atmosphere is there from the start. Some main courses are prepared with a kind of show cooking at the table. The food is delicious.. The dishes are of a slightly higher level.. The carpaccio was the best I have ever eaten with the minimum of ingredients. The grilled calemare was also tasty..the dessert, the canoli recommended by the waiter, was delicious.. However, big eaters will not get their money's worth here.. There is a very extensive wine list and you should definitely try the wines of the region. The prices are not too bad.. Friendly staff.. Highly recommended..
23/10/2023: Beautiful stylish restaurant in a cave. There weren't many guests there, the friendly, nice employee was very attentive. The starters of roasted peppers and peas bacon ravioli with squid were very good, the rombo was also tasty. Unfortunately the flambéed beef fillet was raw and was ordered medium. After complaining to the boss, who had also flambéed the fillet, the only comment that came was whether the fillet should be better fried. It's a shame that the boss only knows how to eat raw or fried. You expect more in a Michelin recommended restaurant.
