Nice place, easy to find. Really good food. The biggest flaw is the service... improvised yet eager. When we arrived, they left us at the table for 20 minutes... when we asked for a drink, they took their time "organizing." Our dishes arrived within half an hour of each other. Overall, everything was good, but guys... Wake up!!

Had lunch here today with a party of 10 and could not more highly recommend La Balestra. Loved the food - the wild boar ragu was excellent and some of the best pasta I’ve had anywhere in Italy. House white wine with lunch was perfect. The meat/cheese board was exactly as you’d expect. Nice salads, always a bonus to have greens with your Italian meal. I really liked that La Balestra was tucked into a quiet alley. Lovely outdoor dining. We could overhear someone practicing for an opera show and the local kids chatted to us through the daycare fence. Finished with espressos - perfect meal. 10/10 - great place to come ❤️❤️❤️

Pur perplessi da recensioni controverse, abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante, segnalato in Piazza Risorgimento ma un po' appartato rispetto al caos turistico della piazza stessa (e con un gradevole giardino interno, il che in una bella giornata di primavera non guasta). Ordino tagliatelle burro e tartufo. Perfette.. Cotte al punto giusto! E non so perché, ma già immagino disfide di Barletta fra nordisti della pasta scotta e sudisti della pasta al dente! 🤣 E la mia (ri)scoperta culinaria, da maremmano trapiantato a Pisa che ritrova, fra Marche e Romagna, tanti sapori della sua terra natia, continua con una spettacolare faraona con tartufo e aroma d'arancia, della quale ho divorato anche la pelle. E da lunedì bagno di lecitina! Ma per il momento che goduria.. e le calorie per "affrontare" le meraviglie di Palazzo Ducale sono state assicurate!

First courses not very tasty. We had pappardelle with wild boar and porcini ragout, tagliatelle with truffles and strozzapreti. We all found little flavor in the dishes. The lamb stew was delicious! The bread feels like it's made by them, good.

Bagni Gilberto Bar - Ristorante

05/07/2025: The place is nice and right next to the hotels. The sunbeds are very comfortable. There are services such as shower and toilet. However... space between the umbrellas is limited, really rude staff who even pay to say hello which fortunately is not common in these parts. The management is extremely attached to the money... charging 7 euros for chairs and umbrellas for two hours in the evening after giving them almost 60 euros for the following two days... well... more and a little more expensive than the others. Management of the restaurant bar after a clarification with the manager does not provide takeaway on the weekend. I like eating on the beach and therefore personally I do not approve of this choice. I have not tasted the food because on principle I preferred to eat elsewhere. I can say that the smell is good, and considering the number of customers it is likely that the food is too. They obviously do not need to retain the customer... with me they certainly did not succeed...
02/06/2025: My wife, I and a friend spent a weekend in this fantastic place, good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, excellent delicious dishes and very fresh fish, when I return to these parts I will not miss a trip to Bagni Gilberto in Pesaro
