There is nothing better than stopping here, at the Baita refreshment bar, after an excursion to the Gaudolino plain. We were a table of 16 people and the welcome from the staff was special! Fixed menu with abundant and delicious typical dishes concluding with a fantastic homemade cherry crumble, not to mention the herbal bitters, delicious! In addition to recommending it, we will definitely return!

All so extraordinarily magical…! The Baita is confirmed as an obligatory stop when arriving in Viggianello. Divine food, excellent hospitality, clean services and modest prices... what can I say, goodbye dear Francesco and Laura!

Ristorante rustico montano. Buona possibilità di parcheggio, un po' meno quando piove poiché si forma fanghiglia, quindi bisogna parcheggiare qualche decina di metri più lontano. Posto appena prima di una piana molto bella e importante (dolina di raccolta di una famosa acqua minerale) . Cibo assolutamente casereccio e molto buono, personale molto disponibile, ci hanno accolti dopo una tempesta di pioggia e messo a disposizione la stufa a legna X asciugarci gli indumenti. Consiglio.

05/06/2024: Pranzato nel corso di un tour organizzato con 26 persone. Tutto al meglio : sia il servizio che le pietanze. Porzioni giuste e buon vino. Complimenti !
20/05/2024: We were there with a group. Very nice lunch oresented beautifully. Very good service and location down the street from the castle. Also aglianico from the Catina Venoso. We had a nice chat with the owner as well.

21/11/2024: One of the few refreshment points open during the autumn period in the surroundings of Matera. It was a pleasant surprise. Very good pizza, precise and fast service.
