The property is well-maintained; as soon as you enter, you immediately feel like you're in a mountain cabin. For a four-star hotel, the hotel surprised us; it was a pleasant vacation. The spa was also really nice, and Giada, the spa lady, was truly helpful, kind, and professional! I had a relaxing massage with her, and I can say it was perfect! The other spa lady was also very kind, but I didn't have the chance to try any of her services.
It's a shame, however, that some things were amiss, such as the pool doors not working properly. During our five days there, no one showed up to fix the problem. We had a small dog, and unfortunately, we didn't find a dog bed or bowl in the room. I would pay more attention to the cleanliness of the toilet and, especially, the outdoor pool near our room; it was very dirty, with the tiles
slimy and full of sand inside. I understand it's an outdoor pool, but we tried it on our first day, and if it had been cleaned before we told them, we would have noticed. Therefore, I don't recommend the room with the pool. Instead, I highly recommend the cabin and we will definitely return.

We stayed for two nights in January in a room with a Mont Blanc view. The view from the room is stunning. The room is beautifully decorated, just like the rest of the hotel -you can really see how much attention has been paid to the details.
The outdoor pool is amazing -swimming with a mountain view is a truly special experience. Although it is stated that the pool opens at 10 a.m., in reality, when we arrived, it only opened after lunch, which was a big disappointment in an otherwise wonderful hotel.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast -probably the worst I can remember. The omelet was tasteless, the sausages were unpleasant, the bread and pastries were not fresh, the juices tasted artificial, and even the smoked salmon was of low quality. This really surprised both me and my husband. The only good items were the coffee and the donuts; everything else felt barely edible.

Would recommend hotel gran baita! It is a great hotel, excellent staff, comfortable rooms, good food and a good spa area. The only issue would be the internet is slow and the shuttle can take a while to pick you up. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved this small hotel with great services. As Americans we felt ensconced in a Italian Winter wonderland. our days started with an amazing breakfast with views of mountains, in a very efficient shuttle to the ski slopes or town, and dinner in their wonderful restaurant followed by drinks in the piano bar with live music. Pietro At the bar was so friendly and really made us feel at home. we will be back!

Incredible hotel. Everyone super friendly, especially Pietro at the bar. Lobby and bar/restaurant area is one of the nicest in town. Would definitely come back again.

The hotel, as you can see right away, is a superior category, the environment is very, very well-kept, the spa, the only one in Courmayeur, with an indoor and outdoor pool... A dream, in a hot tub (of course) in the middle of the snow!!! The girls at reception were very kind and helpful... The only criticism, but really a trivial one, is that the bathrooms in the rooms are not all renovated, but they are still spacious and very clean... Highly recommended, you will be immersed in a winter enchantment ✨

An unforgettable stay at the Gran Baita Courmayeur.
My Junior Suite "Panorama Private Pool" on the top floor was simply spectacular: wooden ceiling and walls, breathtaking mountain views.
The autumn colors—the yellow and orange larches, the green pines, and the gray rocks—made it feel like a painted palette.
Opening the French window, you look directly into the panoramic hot tub, a peaceful haven where you can enjoy the scenery in total relaxation.
After a hike to the Bertone refuge, on my way back to the hotel, I used the spa's Turkish bath: rejuvenating and perfect for relaxing.
I also dined at the hotel restaurant on my last night: the Valpellinese soup and strudel were fabulous!
The staff is kind, attentive, and very attentive, always ready to make you feel at ease.
The room was impeccably clean.

If I could, I'd return immediately. We were welcomed by Samanta, a lovely and very welcoming woman. The room was clean, with its own small pool on the balcony, which gave us an unforgettable experience. At the restaurant, despite a small problem with one dish, which was resolved by the man (who is from Naples but his second home is Scilla), we had a great time. Overall... excellent.

I'm writing this review a few weeks late. We go to Courma once in the summer and once in the winter, and every time we return, it's a pleasure.
The pool and spa area are a treat for our two-year-old daughter; the water is heated, so you can swim year-round. Daniele Pellerino was able to soothe my herniated cervical spine with professional massages that few physiotherapists here in Florence can match.
I'd return just to get myself back in shape more often. Unfortunately, the gym is tiny; it could use some weights, benches, and a pull-up bar. There's plenty of treadmills and exercise bikes, though.
At breakfast, the restaurant staff welcome you with a smile. My daughter had become everyone's Princess Giulia, and even a month later, she still asks me about them every now and then.
The reception staff are nice; they immediately assigned us a room when my Giulia refused to leave. Her battery was flat; it was lovely, with a sauna.
At the bar, the gentleman—forgive me, I don't remember his name—is always ready with a cocktail, a smile, and remembers the guests' names and what they're drinking. He introduced me to the Ebo Lebo bitters, which I later purchased in town.
I can't wait to return; the brasserie is also worth it. The location is superfluous to mention, five or ten minutes from the center. The shuttle is always available during the day; perhaps they should also provide it at night in the summer. But those are details. Ample parking. What else? For a family with a small daughter, one of the best places in the city of my heart. Greetings from Francesco, Simona, and Giulia
