10-day stay with half board: a cold reception in particular due to the lack of explanations on the organization of the hotel and the attractions of the place. It is very important to explicitly request a room with a non-tilting window and not on the top floor when booking, to avoid a suffocating heat, and not on the street side, as it is quite noisy... Nice furnishings, large bathroom but without a window with a practically non-existent fan! Cleanliness was good, but something was always missing every day. The catering was excellent. The beautiful garden with swimming pool and wellness center in which the manager and technical sports director Daniele Pellerino stood out for his skill and professionalism, who very kindly helps customers to regain psycho-physical well-being.

A good hotel a little far from the center.
Excellent breakfast. The rooms are clean and the service is good.
Our room faced the street and was above the hotel restaurant, so the noises of the diners could be heard well in the room. In addition, there is no air conditioner in the room, which was a problem given that we were there on hot days.
Despite all these we strongly recommend the hotel

Comfort Room
The card reader does not always guarantee contact, therefore it happens that the light in the room goes out.
Bathroom with bathtub and shower with hose, the jet is badly oriented.
Hall and reception excellent
Spa with Turkish bath and excellent sauna (pool connected to the outside).
Excellent breakfast for variety and quality.
Good restaurant but I expected more from a 4 star.
Room service could definitely be improved.
If you have to film a young waiter at his first experiences (assuming he is a waiter who comes from a school), you don't do it in front of the customer with the wrong tone, you call him into the kitchen and tell him what you have to say.
If you're asked what's for dessert, you don't take a piece of paper out of your pocket and read what's there.
In a 4 star hotel it is not allowed.
Overall I recommend it and would go back.

I loved the receptionist they are super friendly and amazing, the guy on the bar and lobby area is fantastic and helped us a lot during our first day late check in . But unfortunately the only things i hate is the buffet head staff the bold guy.. he is so rude and unprofessional at all. The way he speaks and deal with guests is unbelievable and unacceptable. At the first day i fell in love with courmayeur, but after two incidents with this guy i can’t even wait till afternoon to checkout. I believe he’s doing this in purpose he want to raise his voice and create his silly scenario.

Very nice and welcoming hotel. Well furnished and excellently managed. Clean facility. Comfortable rooms. High level cuisine. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially at reception. Nothing is left to chance.

Excellent choice for spending beautiful days away from the city, a true oasis of relaxation. We immediately met at the reception, wonderful people who were helpful and kind, as were the restaurant staff who were always smiling and kind, ready to serve and please. But what left me with a wonderful memory is the spa of this hotel or rather, the staff, who are very knowledgeable, as well as always being available, very approachable, I had some nice conversations, receiving very professional answers to my questions. I received a craniosacral therapy massage performed by Daniele. Daniele looked at me and said: "you lady have some blockages that we can dissolve with this massage" For those who don't know, craniosacral therapy is a therapy that is good for everyone regardless of age, even pregnant women and baby, strengthens the immune system and heals the soul. Daniele is a wonderful person but above all he is a human, he is that person who knows how to "read" you inside, a person with great intuition. Daniele was right... after the massage which isn't really a massage, I had let go of heavy weights that I had been carrying around for years, or rather from other lives. I would have liked to have at least one more session but the departure was now close, I was about to leave in a few hours. I will definitely return here, where I met some wonderful, wonderful people, and certainly also some beautiful places to take long walks, the mountains are fascinating. It happens like this every time, when you leave something of you remains in that place and something about these special people accompanies you for the rest of your life. I thank Daniele for helping me, I thank all the staff of this beautiful hotel for the wonderful stay. Thank you🌹

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gran Baita on a half-board basis through a Tui ski holiday.
Room - our family room (for 3) was big enough and lots of storage, always clean and reset each day. Complimentary water in a small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities (but no milk or creamer).
Spa - clean, relaxing, and well appointed. Robes, towels, slippers, and flip flops all provided.
Communal areas - always clean and tidy, lots of smaller areas designated for relaxing, reading, etc. Bar manager was on point the entire stay. Snacks of crisps, nuts, and breads brought with drinks in the evening. Drinks weren't inexpensive but comparable to anywhere else in the resort. Piano player offering entertainment each evening for pre or post-dinner times.
Restaurant - buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, anything you could want for breakfast (within reason). Fresh cutting loaves could do with being replenished as often these were small end pieces left if you arrived a little later (maybe a mamma or pappa arrived early to make a sneaky takeaway lunch 🤷♀️) You also need to ask for coffees etc to be brought out to you, the waiting staff don't often come with this option, although it's not a problem at all and included with breakfast. Restaurant - evening dinner is a 4 course meal with a choice of 2 antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi and 2 desserts. We could always choose something we fancied, as could our 16 year old son, but he enjoys a wide variety of foods. We did see children being served a children's menu, so it might be worth enquiring. The food was delicious always.
Restaurant - staff were brilliant and more relaxed around us after a few days. They work very hard under the watchful eye of a Maître d’ who ensures everything is running smoothly and properly. We were mostly served by a young lady from Scilly who loves fish(!) we thought she was great 👍 but all the serving staff are very good.
Transport - nothing was too much for Marco, the hotel shuttle driver. Free shuttle trips to the cable cars at Courmayeur, Dolonne and Monte Bianco, rides into town and other local journeys. Excellent bonus, which was much appreciated by tired ski legs at times! 🌟
The hotel, facilities, and staff deserve the 5* rating.
