This was the best meal we had in Italy hands down. The first bite of every meal we had a physical reaction. Service went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. We received complimentary champagne while waiting in the line, and a stuffed pasta shell to try before our starters. Our servers were so attentive and kind, were prepared to answer questions about the food and gave great recommendations. At the end fireworks started going off which made the whole atmosphere so much better. The truffle pasta, lemon tart and lamb loin was the best things I have ever tasted.

If you find yourself on the Amalfi Coast, specifically in Praiano, you should definitely eat at this little restaurant. It's quiet, away from the crowds, and offers a sea view, meticulously renovated and furnished. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the service is impeccable, with dishes featuring unique pairings that are simply delicious. I recommend the calamari with zucchini scales and almonds, which is sublime. I also recommend the homemade bread, and everything from appetizers to main courses is exceptional. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the setting.

Great dinner spot with a great coastal view. If you are expecting traditional tiramisu, do not order for dessert. It was served in a cup with like tortilla chip-like things on top. Very odd creative decision. Otherwise, the pastas and scallops we ordered were so yum.

One of the best meals we had in Italy—hands down a top 3 restaurant on our entire trip. Kasai is a gem along the Amalfi Coast and absolutely worth the trip. Beautiful views, warm and welcoming service, and food that honestly blew us away.
We ended up coming here three times during our stay. The first visit was for lunch, and even with a limited menu, they served up incredible dishes. That lunch alone convinced us to come back for dinner—and we’re so glad we did.
The octopus salad with sweet vinegar over a perfect bed of greens? 9/10. The breaded scallop on potato purée? 9.5/10. And the breaded cod with sweet vinegar is a must-try. Their octopus spaghetti was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. Everything we tried felt thoughtful, fresh, and skillfully prepared. Don't forget their desserts! Great way to end the meal.
The team treated us like family from the start—we were affectionately known as the Jack Daniel’s table by the end! Sunset seating is stunning, but bring mosquito repellent or ask the staff—they’ve got you covered.
Huge thanks to the Kasai team. With food and service like this, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Michelin recommendation in their future.

Kasai used to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants, but I feel like the level of creativity and depth in the dishes has shifted. As you can see from the plates, both dishes had a very similar presentation and shared the same basic flavors, which made the experience feel less special.
The quality is still good, but for the high prices, I miss the distinctive and exciting flavors they used to deliver. I understand that many restaurants are adapting their menus and approaches to meet demand and rising costs, but I hope Kasai brings back some of the originality that once made it stand out.

Llevamos casi 7 semanas viajando por África, Reino Unido e Italia. Sin duda la cena que tuvimos esta noche en Kasai fue la mejor. No tengo idea de si este lugar tiene una estrella Michelin, pero deberían. Comida claramente deliciosa, servicio eficiente y amable y un ambiente increíble. ¿Comería aquí otra vez? Claro que sí.

Hacía frío por la noche en la costa amalfitana en esta época del año y tenían 5 fogones de metal que calentaban su zona de estar exterior que estaba bien iluminada con luces. El personal era amable y hablaba buen inglés. Pedí el conejo relleno de salchicha y fue una de las mejores comidas que tuve en Italia. Muy recomendable!
