Excellent!!! This is the only rating I can give!!! I had called a few days before to make a reservation, knowing it's a highly regarded and certainly well-known place... no problem. In fact, when we requested that the fish be gutted (knowing that local tradition dictates that fish be roasted whole), and without any objections, we were very kindly told that it was absolutely no problem. 🙏 The place is air-conditioned with a well-balanced temperature distribution (in fact, outside the temperature today, September 7th, was 35°/37°C). But I repeat, inside, the place was perfect... Abundant, fresh, delicious food... Phenomenal service, with top-notch kindness and courtesy. (Except for one waitress who seemed to have it in for the whole world. 😅 A rare bird is a must. 🤷) A charming yet ancestral location. fishpond in the Cabras pond, beautiful setting, friendly staff, dinner with octopus, skate wings with marinated mullet sauce, bottarga pâté, fregola alla pescatora tastes good but not even a trace of fish, truly excellent roasted sea bream and mullet, overall definitely worth a visit, however I do not understand the need to have the fish appetizer already on the tables upon arrival, including the skate in cold sauce, ready-made dishes to be left in the pan with a little gas and served hot upon the arrival of the guests.

I've been there with friends about 4 years ago. We were disappointed. The lunch was 2-star. I usually go back because if the first time wasn't good, you have to give it a second chance. Today was great, everything was perfect. The food was 5-star, as was the service. I'll go back if I have the chance. Recommend it.

Set menu €37 or €42. The appetizers were good, although the decision to have them already served on the table was questionable. The grilled fish had very charred mullet. The service was excellent, but it felt a bit like being in a company cafeteria, with dishes arriving one by one. You're eating rather than enjoying the meal.
