We visited this pizzeria and overall had a positive experience. We had a Sicilian appetizer, which was really good and well-received. Unfortunately, the fries lacked salt. The 1L glass Coca-Cola bottle was very nice and appreciated, which is always a nice touch. The pizzas were good, but they were a bit too oily; furthermore, the prosciutto wasn't top-notch. Overall, a good place, 3 stars.

We stayed in Palermo for 5 days and this was our favorite restaurant. We liked it so much that we went back on our last night. Everything we tried was good but our absolute favorites were the busiate alla Norma and the caponata. Simply incredible. The busiate with porchini mushrooms, pizza, and the bruschetta classica were very good, and the mixed fried Sicilian street food plate was ok. Service was great, and they recognized us warmly when we came back the second time. Prices were reasonable. Over all, we very much loved both times we ate here.

Honestly, this is the best pizzeria I've been to in Palermo! The pizzas are delicious! And the price is great too! Highly, highly, highly recommended! When I return to Palermo, I'll definitely be back!

09/12/2025: Excellent experience, very good food. Alessandro was a very friendly guide and we were happy with his recommendations.
30/11/2025: nice service but overpriced so-called tourist trap for 2x espresso, cannoli and tiramisu we left 18€ here, in Palermo there are much more affordable cafes and especially with tastier products.

01/02/2026: Neither bad nor praiseworthy! The place was average: we had arancini, crostini, and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, followed by busiate with fried eggplant and salted ricotta (very good and well-received), mixed grill, beccafico sardines, and swordfish rolls. The appetizers were clearly reheated, so much so that one arancini was cold. Overall, everything else was average.
29/01/2026: Hi all, my first choice Osteria Nonna was full. This place was recommended by my Airbnb. Price is not as cheap as anonna but still reasonable. I got greedy. Even when eating alone I had a full 3 course meal. They had an English menu. I had the caponata. At 9€ quite expensive but very tasty. Soft eggplant with a tomato slightly sweet sauce. Portion was big and easy to eat with two or more with bread. As pasta I chose the pasta with sardines. Well it wasn’t my taste and didn’t enjoy it. The plate was huge. Again enough to share. 12€ seems fair for the amount. Frankly a-pettier and pasta is more than enough for non Italian eaters. But I was greedy and wanted to try the mix grill with swordfish, squid and prawns.at 16€ it was really cheap. But was not perfect. The prawn was overcooked, refried? The squid was surprisingly tough. Swordfish was OK. But I have had better in Milan. In the end I couldn’t recommend it for a second time. For this 3 dishes I ended up at 44€. To expensive. But the amount of food is more than fair
