My friends and I came here because of the high ratings. First, the waiter forgot to bring us some parts of the order (it happens - they brought it after reminding us). My friends liked the food, but I ordered grilled fish. After opening the fish, I found that there was a lake of blood inside. After showing the blood to the waiter, the waiter took it and after about 10 minutes he brought me only half of the fish (they threw away the bloody part...). No compensation for giving me only half a portion due to their mistake... I had to pay the full price because the waiters don't speak English and there was no way to complain..

A wonderful discovery in Sicily! We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which offers excellent value for money. I chose a pasta dish with swordfish, tomato, and eggplant for only €12, which is quite rare for this type of dish, and it was truly delicious, well-prepared, and fresh. The service was also a real highlight: the staff is welcoming, smiling, and attentive without being intrusive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. As for the ambiance, the decor is particularly tasteful and creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a good meal. In short, a very good restaurant in Palermo that I recommend without hesitation, whether for the quality of the food, the atmosphere, or the very reasonable prices.

Excellent food at affordable prices. Well-prepared Sicilian specialties. The service is friendly and efficient. It gets quite busy on Saturday nights, so reservations are recommended.

I had dinner with a group of 27 people and we found all the dishes, from appetizers to dessert, abundant and well-prepared, from the bruschetta to the caponata, from the cheeses to the anchovies, from the pasta with eggplant to the pasta with fried cocuzza. Despite our delay in arriving at the restaurant, we were served quickly and attentively. We'll be back!

Neither bad nor praiseworthy! The place was average: we had arancini, crostini, and eggplant meatballs as appetizers, followed by busiate with fried eggplant and salted ricotta (very good and well-received), mixed grill, beccafico sardines, and swordfish rolls. The appetizers were clearly reheated, so much so that one arancini was cold. Overall, everything else was average.

Hi all, my first choice Osteria Nonna was full. This place was recommended by my Airbnb. Price is not as cheap as anonna but still reasonable. I got greedy. Even when eating alone I had a full 3 course meal. They had an English menu. I had the caponata. At 9€ quite expensive but very tasty. Soft eggplant with a tomato slightly sweet sauce. Portion was big and easy to eat with two or more with bread. As pasta I chose the pasta with sardines. Well it wasn’t my taste and didn’t enjoy it. The plate was huge. Again enough to share. 12€ seems fair for the amount. Frankly a-pettier and pasta is more than enough for non Italian eaters. But I was greedy and wanted to try the mix grill with swordfish, squid and prawns.at 16€ it was really cheap. But was not perfect. The prawn was overcooked, refried? The squid was surprisingly tough. Swordfish was OK. But I have had better in Milan. In the end I couldn’t recommend it for a second time. For this 3 dishes I ended up at 44€. To expensive. But the amount of food is more than fair

The staff, even though my experience may have been limited to choosing at the counter and paying at the register, were still friendly and smiling.

Pizzeria White Horse

04/05/2026: This is a spot where the locals come to eat, so booking a table in advance is a must as the place is packed every night. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the staff speaks both English and French, which made communication very easy and comfortable for us. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean, from the cutlery and glasses to the restrooms. For starters, we ordered the meat and cheese platter. The slicing was thin and precise, the flavors were diverse, and the cheeses were rich and high quality an excellent choice to start the meal. For our main course, we had two pizzas. The Boscaiola, with mozzarella, porcini mushrooms, and prosciutto, to which I added pistachio pesto for an extra 3 Euro (a bit pricey, but a tasty upgrade), and the Regina with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The pizzas were outstanding and beautifully prepared, with a slightly soft center in the best way possible. This is a highly recommended restaurant if you’re looking for amazing food. Be prepared for an authentic vibe with a simple, modern design rather than a "fancy" atmosphere just come for the incredible food.
15/02/2026: My boyfriend and I often go with friends, some of whom have children, and I have to say we always have a pleasant evening. The pizzeria is a little outside of Cefalù's historic center, making it easily accessible by car. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. The pizza never disappoints, highly recommended!
