Isola Verde is one of those places you choose for the food, not the appearance—and it's a good one. Eritrean cuisine is authentic, intense in flavor, and of great quality. The Spriss is exceptional, always freshly prepared, and truly hard to find anywhere else. The injera is also very good, perfect for accompanying the dishes. The prices are incredibly low for Milan: for €12, you can eat very well, even just for Spriss and water. The place is small and simple, more like a rotisserie than a traditional restaurant. Trahas, the owner, manages everything herself—the kitchen, service, and cashier—and this helps create a genuine experience, without frills, but with great substance. A must-try if you love authentic food.

Very tasty food and nice welcome

The lady was initially a bit cold in her welcome, especially considering we were the only two customers! However, she definitely made up for it with the food: excellent value and generous portions (with water included). Moreover, towards the end, the lady even softened a bit. NOTE: There is no restroom; there is only a sink.
