Everything we've eaten has always been good and prepared properly. It's trattoria-style cuisine, with good and usually plentiful first courses and quality meat-based second courses. The price is fair.

Authentic Roman Dining at Its Finest Trattoria del Cacciatore was one of the best dining experiences I had in Rome. We started with the beef tartare, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—exceptionally fresh, incredibly flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Next, we ordered the beef carpaccio with pear and Pecorino Romano, which was an absolute explosion of flavors. The sweetness of the pear combined with the richness of the cheese and the delicate beef created a truly unforgettable dish. The prosciutto served with fresh burrata was another highlight. The burrata was unbelievably fresh and creamy, while the aged prosciutto was rich, savory, and full of flavor. For the main course, I ordered the beef filet cooked medium-well, and it was simply outstanding—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. This is a true authentic Roman trattoria where every dish reflects the flavors and traditions of Italy. The quality, freshness, and simplicity of the ingredients shine through in every bite. Dining here reminded me how different real Italian cuisine is from the American version. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Rome, Trattoria del Cacciatore is a must-visit. The pizza was really good and light, and the desserts, needless to say? The outdoor setting was very pleasant.

Good historic restaurant in the quiet area, a bit run down and tired. The staff is a bit tired. Good restaurant, but not what it used to be.

Excellent service with qualified staff

First time at Cacciatori with friends who are customers. Excellent pizza, excellent food, according to friends at the table. The waiters were courteous and efficient, despite it being quite crowded. A bit noisy, but on a Saturday night, it's hard to find "quiet" places.
