We stopped by for a village festival, and only stayed one night and had breakfast. Everything was great: a generous sweet and savory buffet breakfast, a beautiful, clean place. Friendly staff. We'll be back.

I was in the area for work and stayed at Iris for two nights with my colleagues, and I have to say that if we ever get back to the area, we'd definitely want to stay there. Excellent service, courtesy, and friendliness, excellent and plentiful food with a wide variety of choices, including simple and protein-rich dishes, just the way I like them. I highly recommend it; everything was top-notch!

We stayed at this property as a couple from July 15th to July 19th. I wasn't familiar with this hotel and chose it based on the reviews I'd read. We were very satisfied with everything: the service, food, breakfast, friendliness, hospitality, room, cleanliness, availability, and location. I consider it a guarantee, and I'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

Returned today after four days: for those looking for a genuine and intimate hotel, close to the center and the lake despite being on a side street. The service, hospitality, and unparalleled helpfulness of Walter and Daiana make the place pleasant and well-maintained. The food is very good with a wide selection. As always, family-run establishments are the best. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

The village is small, secluded, and very relaxing, about 15 km from Lake Messalina, the starting point for the three peaks of Lavaredo, and very close to Lake Sorapis, two must-see spots. The Albergo is a small, family-run hotel in Ouronzo, on the shores of Lake Santa Catarina. It's family-run. The mother and brother run the kitchen, and Valter and his partner manage the reception and dining room. Everyone is charming, especially Valter, the host. We stayed on a shared-share basis, and although dinner is a bit early for Spaniards in June (8:00 PM), with the sun still shining brightly, it's worth the effort: a set menu dinner with a choice of dishes. I liked the risotto. The atmosphere is very friendly, with curious, familiar characters, regulars who have been staying there for a while. Older couples, some bikers, all good-natured and friendly. The food, without much variety, is well-chosen, but it's high-quality because they make you choose what you're going to have for dinner at breakfast, so they don't overbuy anything and you don't have to repeat the next day. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is half the size of the room. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, and there's also a channeled stream that runs down the mountain, its sound the perfect way to relax after a hard day's hiking. The lake is very beautiful, and a walk along its shores, crossing bridges, is undoubtedly a magnificent bonus before dinner at sunset, with the town reflected in the last rays of the sun in panoramic view. I recommend it because in that expensive area around Cortina d'Ampezo, you can't get anywhere else, and finding this spot so convenient and affordable, yet beautiful and peaceful, is a blessing. Refrain from the posh and tikismikis. For hikers and nature lovers. After dinner, on the terrace, with the sound of the water in the background, a "Capo di Calabria Amaro" served by Valter at the reception bar justifies it all. Cheers and have a good trip. By the way, there's free public parking right there.
