Our first night in Florence and a little jet lagged we found this gem in our neighborhood. Modern takes on classic Italian dishes presented beautifully and downright delicious. Molto buono.

Wonderful service, creative menu. The vegetarian pasta choice with cauliflower was not very flavorful bur everything else was absolutely fantastic. Get dessert - it was excellent!

The restaurant gives a nice vibe. We had the 6 courses meal which were fantastic. Great venue for a special treat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Seeing us waiting outside for a taxi for few minutes, the waiter offered to help book a taxi and invited us to wait inside. Thank you!

Excellent tasting menu experience. We did five courses but should have done six, because the dishes were delicious but were on the small side, as we should’ve expected for a tasting menu. The service was impeccable. The decor is quite nice and, while it has an air of elegance, it still felt a bit Spartan — like an upscale cafe instead of a fine restaurant.

Michelin recommended spot which is still up and coming. The staff are phenomenal, and their team is what puts them ahead. Tasting menu is choose your own adventure. Many of the dishes lack a bit of dimensionality. The beef tartar, for example, is paired with mayo and is lacking some potent flavors to grab tasting buds. The squid risotto is extra earthy. They can build out the flavor profile of both dishes. The only technical issue was the popcorn in the dessert was not fresh.. it was soft. Their wine menu is extensive and their somm helpful. The by the glass options are not high quality/hi value, and you will need to choose a bottle if you want good wine. The exception is the desert offerings. All in, not bad value. Will come back in a few years to see how things have progressed.

OPTIMAL. All the courses were delicious, the presentation was beautiful, the service was attentive and spontaneously kind. The gluten-free dishes are also very tasty and light. The choice of wines is wide and refined. Personally, I ended the dinner with a coconut foam dessert... delicious! The environment is welcoming and intimate, I appreciated that it was well heated. Everyone satisfied at the table. We will certainly return.

Cenamos anoche y no fue solo una de nuestras mejores comidas en el 2. 5 semanas que hemos estado en la Toscana, fue una de las mejores comidas que hemos disfrutado. Llegamos unos minutos antes de abrir a las 19.30 y fuimos recibidos por Matteo Fantini, el propietario. Después de sentarnos, revisamos los menús de alimentos y vinos, seleccionando una copa del llamado vino naranja (un blanco casi seco) para mi esposa y una copa del Cabernet Franc (un tinto elegante, denso y seco) para mí. Los huéspedes tienen la opción de elegir sus propios platos a la carta, o menús degustación individuales de cuatro, cinco o seis porciones (el último para todos es el postre). Decidimos probar algo que nunca antes habíamos hecho: un menú degustación con todos los platos seleccionados por el chef. El Sr. Fantini se aseguró de que no tuviéramos alergias alimentarias y también preguntó sobre los tipos de alimentos que generalmente nos gustaban o aquellos que no nos importaban. El nuestro siempre explicó que era dos veces - cocinado: primero hervido en vino blanco, y luego cocido. Fue bañado con una crema de salsa de maíz. El polpo fue el más tierno y sabroso que he probado. Mi esposa también lo enloqueció. De postre, pedimos los dos helados: Romero con aceite de oliva en polvo, merengue de alcaparra y gel de limón. El otro era Palomitas de Maíz Saladas, con toffee, crumble de té ahumado, y una ganache de chocolate negro. El romero no era para ninguno de los dos, aunque creativo. Pero las palomitas de maíz saladas eran deliciosas, prueba de que un postre fantástico no lo es, tiene que ser del tamaño de una manopla de cazador. Tuvimos una noche estupenda con comida creativa y deliciosa a precios justos, buen servicio y un ambiente acogedor y acogedor. Recomiendo Osteria Personale.
