I had lunch with my wife at this little restaurant in the center of Pavia.
Infernot is a small, elegant restaurant/wine bar with an open kitchen, tastefully decorated to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
Rossella, the owner, is a delightful person, extremely kind, and able to guide you in choosing dishes and wines.
The lunch menu offers a few dishes focused on authenticity and seasonality of the products.
We enjoyed a cacio e pepe and a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) that were truly superb.
The price is reasonable and is absolutely in line with the quality of the products.
A 100% positive experience; we'll be back!

Delicious food. I had excellent fresh bucatini cacio e pepe, and a truly delicious parmigiana. Special mention also for the tomato sauce.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during a trip to Pavia and were amazed by the quality of the service and the food.
The restaurant is very welcoming, well-decorated, and refined. Without too many frills, but with just the right details that add a touch of elegance.
The menu is limited, but perfectly executed, with an interesting selection of vegetarian dishes. We had a handmade cacio e pepe and lemon pasta dish, a pumpkin cream soup, a small portion of parmigiana, and a mock tripe made with egg omelette, tomato sauce, and mint.
The service was lovely; the owner, very kind and helpful, stopped to chat with us, making us feel right at home.

The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, very pleasant, especially suitable for couples. The food is quite good, but the restaurant's strong point, along with the ambiance, is the wine list. The owner is very approachable and knowledgeable about his subject. Good value.
