A truly lovely place, intimate and quiet. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. The food and wine selection is superb, with meticulous attention to detail. Manlio, the owner, is passionate about telling the story of what's on your plate and, even more so, in your glass. You can sense his love for what he does. Truly well done, we need more places like this!

The restaurant is intimate, with an industrial style and various designer objects scattered throughout. The atmosphere is perfect for couples or even a dinner with friends. The staff is friendly and welcoming, just the right amount of chatty conversation. The wine recommendations are a wonderful journey through the expert staff's stories, paired with every course selected from the table. The menu is the perfect balance: a few dishes, refined and never boring, cooked to perfection. The bill? For the quality offered, I would have paid even more. Perhaps the best restaurant in Pavia.

I had lunch with my wife at this little restaurant in the center of Pavia. Infernot is a small, elegant restaurant/wine bar with an open kitchen, tastefully decorated to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Rossella, the owner, is a delightful person, extremely kind, and able to guide you in choosing dishes and wines. The lunch menu offers a few dishes focused on authenticity and seasonality of the products. We enjoyed a cacio e pepe and a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) that were truly superb. The price is reasonable and is absolutely in line with the quality of the products. A 100% positive experience; we'll be back!

Delicious food. I had excellent fresh bucatini cacio e pepe, and a truly delicious parmigiana. Special mention also for the tomato sauce. Very friendly and professional service.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during a trip to Pavia and were amazed by the quality of the service and the food. The restaurant is very welcoming, well-decorated, and refined. Without too many frills, but with just the right details that add a touch of elegance. The menu is limited, but perfectly executed, with an interesting selection of vegetarian dishes. We had a handmade cacio e pepe and lemon pasta dish, a pumpkin cream soup, a small portion of parmigiana, and a mock tripe made with egg omelette, tomato sauce, and mint. The service was lovely; the owner, very kind and helpful, stopped to chat with us, making us feel right at home. 100% recommended

Il locale è molto carino, ben curato nei dettagli. La cucina decisamente unica. Il vino protagonista; da provare quello prodotto dal proprietario, dal suo vitigno in Sicilia.

23/12/2025: Piazza Ducale is the most beautiful place in the city of Vigevano. During the summer, restaurant owners set up their outdoor seating, while in the winter the square is free, making it appear even more spacious and beautiful. There are several entrances to the square, all of which create a spectacular entrance. The square is home to several businesses, both restaurants and gift shops. I recommend a visit!
20/12/2025: For the first time, I was able to see the entire square and castle complex open to the public. These monuments, of course, need no introduction and are even more beautiful during the Christmas season. I particularly appreciated the covered street's underground passage, which I had never seen before. I promised myself I'd return to climb the Bramante Tower, which offers a spectacular view.

11/05/2026: Sunday lunch at the invitation of friends. Table for two families (2 + 2 adults and 2 + 1 children). A 10-minute drive from my house, I often pass by, but never at a convenient time to stop. This time, everything was booked and off we went. The food was truly divine, the location beautiful, the service excellent. Perhaps uniquely, the two tables next to each other weren't at the same height because they were different. But they didn't disturb our lunch. It seems like a formal place, but it's not pretentious. I don't know how to describe it; it could be "impositional," but it doesn't want to be. I'll gladly return. Well done.
03/05/2026: Compliments to the kitchen at this trattoria called a restaurant. The excellent flavor of the dishes clashes a bit with the nouvelle cousin style (very small portions, especially the appetizer). The price is a bit high considering the inadequate table setting (peeling and wobbly table, Americano paper plates, etc.). The service is quick and courteous. Unfortunately, we didn't appreciate an argument in the kitchen from our seat; discussions at the end of the service are better! It's still worth a stop. Good luck, retired restaurateurs.
