Truly amazing fine Dining with stunning views of Rome and waiters who seem to love serving and love food. Beautiful highly inventive delicious food. Fautless. Eaten at several Michelin starred restaurants but this was truly many steps above and memorable. Highly recommend.

The best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The food was art and tasted delicious. The waiters were amazing and I couldn’t have asked for more. View was amazing up there and there isn’t many tables in the restaurant so it felt more intimate and allowed the waiters to constantly be at your service. They’d talk to you and have conversations for you while you’re waiting for your food which wasn’t long at all, very informative and knowledgable people. Highly recommend. Men do have to have a suit jacket but this can be provided for you by the restaurant.

We had an amazing experience at Imago. Chef Andrea Antonini really pulls out all the stops for an incredible dining masterpiece. His various influences and wide varieties of flavors, creative dishes, and use of the highest quality ingredients from local farms allowed us to experience food , art and Rome all at once. The flavors and textures of his food are carefully curated and the menu changes every 6 months. The chef and staff were also very accommodating to my wife who cannot eat seafood. The service is impeccable with attention to detail and ensuring you have the best experience. Lastly, the restaurant is located at the top level of the hotel Hassler, above the Spanish steps. The backdrop of the Rome skyline at sunset made the night magical. Highly recommend and this was the best Michelin starred restaurant I have visited. For the amount of food, exquisite presentation, flavor, and variety that you get, every euro was well spent.

The location is definitely good, just above the steps of Plaza de España, but the food is just average. The presentation is ok, the food is just average. The creative dishes I chose were overall sour. Not very tasty. I recommend you choose traditional dishes. The service is very good and I give it a full score. The window seat is good. The interior is just average.

Telling it doesn't seem true. Everything perfect, from start to finish. Fun dishes, flavors you thought you knew, rediscovered in an unexpected way. We made the slipper of the slipper: clean and pint plates. Unforgettable experience. Thank you ❤️

Located on top of a fancy hotel with a long tradition of famous people passing through. A stunning view of the city and sunset. Proper attire required. But not stuffy. The atmosphere is a mix of high class very attentive service, and friendly conversation. The staff were just the right amount of engaging and interested in feedback. We planned to get the classic menu, it looked the best on the website when we booked months ago. But they recently introduced a new summer menu. Upon inspection it was a no brainier to switch. Things like lobster and corn, pasta with lavender, sea cucumber and rabbit leaped out and caught my attention. They encourage you to take pictures, feel free to move about the dining room. Again: stunning view. The first and last things I noticed about the experience was my comfort. The chairs are captains chairs. Comfortable for both leaning back and taking in the view, and for leaning forward and dining. The dining experience started with the feeling of being wooed. Champagne cart, three Amuse Buche. One of which was plain and simple focaccia with tomato and basil. It looked just like what you find at every corner store and local restaurant in Italy. For this reason it stood out. And it tasted like having this dish for the first time. Like the best Italian food, it was simple but perfectly made. The new menu has four "Acts". In total, counting the "Sweet Cart" from which I was offered unlimited access, the entire meal consisted of 26 courses. We were warned in advance that the food would come relatively quickly from course-to-course. This sounded ok. And for my taste it worked perfectly. No lulls in the action or my palete. Also, not a single large dish. This approach gets a lot of points from me. My favorite dishes were the sorrel, almond and blueberry salad and the 'summer salad' which elevated the bar early on. Then the raw sweet prawn with apple and perfectly carved out, marinated lettuce pieces. The raw beef was to die for, but I recommend eating it without the Bearnaise sauce or only a tiny bit at first, otherwise you might miss the delicate beef flavor wonders. The rabbit ravioli was a risky maneuver from the chef, with carrot and ginger, balancing a hint of Asian flavor against classic pasta. It paid off. The one that stole my heart and surprised me the most was the 10-year aged Parmesan pasta dish with pollen (from Bees). I never knew pasta could have so much Umami (and without a single mushroom or cured pork piece). There were only 2 of 26  I was not impressed with. The spaghetti with figs offered a sweet surprise, but the lavender and basil were bitter and the sweet and bitter did not get along for me. A daring experiment worth trying, but maybe not quite right. I noticed that the table next to us did not like theirs. Then the lobster with sweetcorn. I was really excited to see this on the menu - two of my favorite ingredients, and the popcorn pineapple juice I had already had me excited about corn themed dishes. But it simply failed for me. This perfect piece of lobster tail with a delicate crispy batter was lost in a creamy sauce that not only did not fit, I did not taste like sweetcorn. It has a mustard like note that was not complementing the lobster. On the side was a delicious little sandwich bite, but whose main flavor was onion. Lobster plus onion plus not exactly sweet corn.... just did not gel with my palate. I'm offering my least favorite items as constructive feedback, because everything else about the food was more like a two Michelin star experience and flavors. Very high caliber dining. I just want to mention that I think that 20 Euro per juice - even with brilliantly creative flavors like pineapple popcorn - is too high. I only realized when the check came that I added 80 Euro just by drinking four wine-glass sized juices. Overall I am so glad I visited this restaurant. It was a full experience with fantastic service. The wine list was longer than a work of Shakespeare. Kudos to you.

¡Los restaurantes con clasificación Michelin siempre vienen con ciertas expectativas! Planeamos nuestra visita meses antes para poder tener asientos junto a la ventana, y no nos decepcionó! Desde el vestíbulo solo fue un corto paseo en ascensor para acercarse a los cielos gastronómicos! 😉 Nos encantó el personal sonriente y próximo que nos acompañó durante toda la noche. Tuvimos un wiev exeptionel de Roma de nuestra mesa, comenzando con la puesta de sol gradualmente transformándose en la vista nocturna! Tan hermoso y especial ¡Elegimos el menú experimental Error 13, que fue alucinante con un nivel extremadamente alto de artesanía! Desde las presentaciones hasta el sabor y texturas de todo! Nada se dejó al azar, y ciertamente no hubo errores aquí! Esta fue realmente una noche mágica para nosotros!

Vuelve a Imago después de unos años y tiene el Menú degustación ckassic. La comida sigue siendo absolutamente excelente. Varios se divierten antes de mirar el menú. La comida está impecablemente preparada (mejor espagueti de erizo de la historia) y presentada. Un sumiller experto ayudó a elegir un Brunelllo excelente. El servicio es muy atento sin ser abrumador. Otra experiencia fantástica en Imago - también ayudado por ver el horizonte romano desde una mesa de ventana.

I took my wife here for her 50th birthday. Our first Michelin star dining experience and it was fantastic. From the amazing view of Rome to the white glove service and welcoming feel to the unique and delicious food offerings, Imago delivers on all fronts. Staff was informative and helpful while not being overbearing. Food was so unique and beautifully presented. We ate off the classic menu. The chef offered some extra appetizers which was nice. Amazing wine selection and we added the cheese sampling which was delicious. This is a dining affair and is truly special and memorable.

10/04/2025: Viola et Lorenzo sont des serveurs très avenants et souriants. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine faites de spécialité : artichauts en starters très originaux et bons, pinsa copieuses, et un tiramisu top pour lequel les serveurs mettent spontanément deux cuillères pour l esprit de partage. Top.
09/04/2025: A nice quite spot of a wonderful meal. We had a lovely warm welcome from Andrea who sat us at our table outside. The home made lasagne was perfect and nice and thick. The ravioli was exquisite in taste. We ordered a side of chips and it easily shared between 3 of us. This is a real Gem of a place. Outside the hassle and bustle of the main centre.
