We dined here on our last night in Rome and it made for a brilliant send off. The food and service was exceptional. The staff team were both helpful and friendly. We had Pinsa Merchese, two Pizzas, Diavolo and Calabrese, as well as Spaghetti Cozze e vongole italiane and Ravioli e Bronte Pistachio. Each was wonderfully cooked, flavoursome and just the right size. Definitely worth a meal at this restaurant.

We had a fantastic dinner at Ristorante Pizzeria Il Veliero. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and kind throughout the evening. We ordered the mixed meat and mixed fish, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked perfectly. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. It’s definitely a place we’ll come back to, whether for pizza, seafood, or a relaxed evening out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and great service!

A wonderful surprise. I had dinner at Il Veliero with my family. We are five very picky eaters, and we had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was family-friendly, and we were welcomed and served with warmth and kindness. The fried appetizers were delicious, as were the first courses, which were high-quality, generous in quantity, and generous in toppings. I tried the matriciana with black pig and cherry tomatoes, a very well-prepared and truly delicious dish. The pistachio carbonara was also remarkable, as was the fettuccine with sausages and spare ribs. The house wine by the glass, both white and red, was also very good. The finishing touches were the chocolate and orange gelato, tiramisu, and sorbet, all homemade, delicious. The menu was extensive and excellent value. Well done! We'll definitely be back!

As a celiac, I can say I ate very well. The lady who served us at the table was very kind.

A small, informal, family-run restaurant with a Calabrian flair, no frills, but efficient and extremely flexible, even when it comes to changing the menu. ALL the dishes are excellent. More than fair prices.
