Family atmosphere; Excellent and tried-and-tested seafood menu; good pizza. It's essential to ask for fresh fish... obviously, it's cooked to perfection!! Fantastic summer cuisine when the restaurant moves to Lido Acquatica (still in Roccelletta, but on the seafront); open for lunch and dinner!!!!

Excellent cuisine. Always full even at lunch. On the old route of the 106 just outside the Catanzaro Lido junction. No difficulty with parking. Never had pizza. Good quality appetizers and fish dishes. Not exactly cheap if you opt for branded bottled wine (good Calabrian wines, rosés). If you want to invite some guests or for some occasion. In the summer months it moves to the nearby beach.

Arriving here by chance, we were presented with a restaurant packed with locals today, May 28, 2025. The atmosphere was tidy and clean, with cloth tablecloths and napkins. Countless model sailing ships hung on the walls. The hosts spoke, logically, no German, only a few words of English. The result? With gestures and gestures, we were given a delicious pizza and a fish antipasti plate. Extensive, varied, and apparently really fresh and superbly prepared. The people were friendly AND they were open on Sundays for lunch, which is unusual in Calabria. I highly recommend it.

La Pecora Nera Soverato

08/10/2025: The unique atmosphere, fresh, heartfelt dishes, and a huge selection of beers... all this and probably more, at reasonable prices. I recommend it.
