Small but typical restaurant. Varied menu and incredible flavours. The staff very friendly and communicative. The dishes, photographed, are an explosion for the palate, and a combination of unique flavours. Price more than adequate for the level. I'll be back soon, I want to try the other menus too.

Small and welcoming restaurant, probably created from the renovation of an old stable.
Very knowledgeable and kind staff and never intrusive.
Masterful presentation of the dishes.
Modern recipes with a lot of tradition.
Pleasant and modern background music.
Homemade bread made with sourdough.
Bagna cauda cream not at all pungent.
Particular wines that look at diversity and not tradition.
Never exaggerated portions which give you the opportunity to enjoy every single dish without feeling too full.
Ideal restaurant for institutional lunches or for a special evening where you can enjoy something different from the usual traditional offer.
Obviously you cannot expect to pay as if it were a simple, even if good, restaurant. The attention to detail and quality of the products deserves to be paid without criticism or controversy.

Cena per due al Vecchio Ristoro da 5 portate: semplicemente indimenticabile. Sapori e profumi veramente unici ed indescrivibili a parole. Spiegazioni dei piatti e degli abbinamenti dei vini che ci hanno trasportato con euforia per tutto la cena ad ogni portata. Da provare almeno una volta nella vita.

In contrast to our restaurant visit in Aosta yesterday, Vecchio is excellent in terms of food, wine, service and ambience. Every euro is worth it. We were thrilled.

A very personal cuisine through a mystery tasting menu or à la carte.
For us, seasonal starters and a delicious pigeon in three courses.
A suggested food and wine pairing that highlights Italian red wines and introduces white and curiosities like this dry Tokay grape variety.

Seguiamo i due patron, chef e sommelier, dai tempi del loro ristorante di montagna in Courmayeur. Eravamo già stati nel nuovo approdo, con soddisfazione. Oggi abbiamo vissuto un'esperienza fantastica, perfetta direi. Location sempre curata, estrema gentilezza e cura nell'accoglienza, accompagnamento intelligente e rispettoso. Conversazioni mai banali. Balzo in alto del cibo, della qualità e generosità. Conto in linea con il livello. Vale ben più della sua stella. Da tornare e fare il tifo perchè continui ad esistere.
